Chapter 101 Tiger's Little Tail (Part 1)

Ji Li was born in Wimbledon, a suburb of London. The family was not in good condition, but her parents were both Wimbledon fans and the family was still alive. This summer, Ji Li was on school holiday. After quarreling with her mother for some trivial matters, Ji Li ran out in anger with the pocket money she had saved. She originally planned to go to Wimbledon to join a distant relative and play for a few days. Poor Ji Li had arrived in Preston when she was a few years old. After taking a bus to Preston, she realized that she had not remembered the relative's home address at all, so she had to wander around Wimbledon all day...

When I saw Tiger just now, I was so embarrassed because I was chased by a homeless man with obvious mental problems in a nearby block, so I was so scared like a frightened quail...

Tiger was speechless when he heard this. This girl was really brave. She ran out to play and ran away from home after she was less than eleven years old. What was she doing when she was eleven? She was trained in the training camp, usually going to school, and after school, she helped her father's fruit stall... Compared with this little girl, she was such a good baby at that time.

"Your parents must be very anxious. After dinner, let Tiger go out with you and call your parents. Don't make them too anxious." Old Li said while eating. There is no phone call at home yet. Tiger has this plan, because the club may often find him, but it has not been ready yet.

"I don't have a phone number..." Ji Li said pitifully, and she regretted it when she ran out. Compared with the fierce strangers she met on this day, Ji Li felt that her mother was originally thought to be bad to her, which was even more kind than an angel...

Tiger scratched his head, thought for a while and said, "I'll call Winnie later... Your parents should have appeared in that bar too often, right? Even if they didn't show up, someone should know your parents' home in that bar."

Ji Li nodded. In fact, her father was a regular customer in that bar, otherwise Ji Li would not have played alone in that bar. It was because Ji Li had been in a place like a bar since she was a child that she had the courage to come out...

Tiger didn't say much next time. After dinner, Tiger went out and he was going to the phone booth across the street to call Jones - last time Jones left the phone to him, but this was the first time Tiger called Jones.

"If you are a reporter, please leave your newspaper name. My lawyer will complain that you have obtained my phone number by illegal means. If you are a beauty, please come to the xx Hotel. I'm waiting for you here. If you are a man, please hang up quickly, otherwise I will blow your head. If you are a fan... Sorry, I will sign you tomorrow."

After answering the phone, before Tiger could speak, he immediately heard Winnie telling this big message on the phone. He heard his drunken tone, most of the guy was drunk.

Tiger held back his laughter and said, "Winnie, it's me, I'm Tiger, the one from Preston."

He was afraid that Jones would no longer remember who he was, but soon, Jones' laughter came from the other end of the phone: "Ah, Tiger, it's really rare to call me... Why, are you traveling in London? Come to me quickly, I have a good friend to introduce you to..."

Tiger was a little curious about who Jones said was, but at this time he had something more important. After saying that he was still in Preston, Tiger told Jones about Ji Li in a slew-hearted manner, expressing his hope that he could help notify Ji Li’s parents.

"Little Jili? That little girl from Hazel's house? Fuck me!" Jones was stunned for a moment, then laughed: "This little girl is really brave. She ran from Wimbledon to Preston alone at the age of ten... Okay, no problem, this matter is covered by me. By the way, tell me your address and I can notify the little guy's parents to go to your house to pick up the bold girl back... It was this little guy who had the luck to meet you, otherwise her parents would be really crazy!"

After getting Jones' confirmation, Tiger felt relieved and chatted with Jones for a few more words. He was curious about who the good partner Jones said was, but Jones mysteriously said, since you don't come, I can't tell you...

After hanging up the phone, Tiger was a little depressed, but soon, he didn't take this good friend's affairs to heart.

After returning home, Tiger told Ji Li that he had contacted Jones, and Jones agreed to notify her parents. After learning the news, Ji Li was both relieved and worried. After all, not every child who ran away from home had the courage to bear the anger of her parents who became angry because of anxiety...

"Don't worry, your parents won't blame you too much." Old Li pointed to his son: "He ran away from home when he was a child. I was so angry that I wanted to break one of his legs, but after seeing him, I was only happy."

When Tiger was about to say that I had not run away from home and that I had always been a pure and kind child, Louisa next to me secretly pinched him. Tiger then realized and immediately shut up and stopped talking.

Ji Li was slightly relieved. After all, she was just a child in her early teens and did not realize that Lao Li actually told a kind lie.

"Ji Li, today you sleep with Louisa, I sleep in the living room." Lao Li said at the end.

"Dad, just sleep in my room. I'll stop working on the floor in the living room." Tiger opposed.

"You have to train tomorrow and have a good rest." Old Li laughed: "I just doze off next to the fruit stall and there is no consumption, so just sleep in your room."

Ji Li asked curiously: "Isn't it a holiday now? Why do you still need to train, Tiger?"

"He didn't go out for vacation." Louisa smiled and looked at her son, her eyes full of pride: "He has been working very hard! He said that he had entered the League One, and he had to become better!"

"Yes, he is Preston's pride now. I, the Preston fan, also hope that he can rest better!" Old Li said with a smile.

Tiger touched his head, looking embarrassed. Ji Li looked at the happy family, and a hint of envy flashed in her eyes.
