Chapter 11 Going to Diagon Alley

On July 17, after breakfast, Ryan took a novel and sat on the sofa in the living room to have fun.

It might take a day to go to Diagon Alley today, so Ryan simply decided to give himself a vacation.

Professor McGonagall was very punctual. At nine o'clock, Leon learned through the magic circle that a huge source of magic was coming to his residence.

So he put down the book and came to the door to greet Professor McGonagall before he arrived.

It was a tabby cat, leaping in the woods at an extraordinary speed, and then landing in front of Ryan's door.

"Professor McGonagall?" Although it was a question, Ryan's words were full of affirmation.

The cat looked at Ryan in confusion, and then turned into a majestic middle-aged woman in a long robe and a sharp-horned hat in Ryan's eyes.

"Rion Zell? How did you make sure I am Professor McGonagall?" Professor McGonagall stared at the well-dressed and handsome young man in front of him.

"You wrote yesterday and said that you would come at nine o'clock today, and I sensed the huge magic power in your body. Unless you have something to do temporarily, I can't think of any great wizard who will patronize this small house in the Muggle Forest."

Leon's speech was neither humble nor arrogant, which made Professor McGonagall feel more and more kind to Leon in front of him.

"You've been living here alone?"

"Yes, professor, it's from the age of seven." Reine replied without hesitation, and last night he thought about all the questions he might ask.

"Professor McGonagall, the door may not be a place to talk, please come in." As he said that, Ryan made a gesture to invite him in.

Professor McGonagall thought about Dumbledore's words yesterday and thought it was a good opportunity.

So Professor McGonagall nodded and followed Ryan into the room.

After entering the room, Professor McGonagall looked around.

The decoration in the house is very lifelike, with few things, but most of them have traces of use, which shows that the owner of this house is mainly practical.

"Professor McGonagall, what do you need to have, tea or coffee?"

"A cup of green tea, thank you."

Ryan took out his wand and pointed it at the teapot. The cold water inside instantly boiled. Then he used the flying spell to make the tea cup fly over and finally put it into the tea leaves.

Professor McGonagall was a little dazzled when he watched this series of operations. She reluctantly said: "It seems that you have experienced the beauty of magic?"

"Of course, the magic is wonderful and convenient." Rean said with a smile by sending the brewed tea to Professor McGonagall.

"IMHO, where did you learn this?"

"This was once a stronghold for the Death Eaters, so there was some inventory, including my wand." As he said, Ryan showed his wand.

Professor McGonagall nodded, not knowing what he was thinking, but just mechanically blew the hot air and then took a sip of tea.

Ryan was also happy that Professor McGonagall would not speak, and he still understood the truth that too much would lead to mistakes.

The two of them fell into silence until they finished drinking the cup of tea.

"Mr. Zel, the time is almost over. Should we leave? In addition to you, there is a young wizard who is about to enter school today to accompany me to enter the magic world."

"Of course, please wait a moment, I'll make some preparations."

After Ryan finished speaking, he went to the bedroom.

He casually grabbed two handfuls of treasures he had stored over the years and put them in his scarless stretch pocket.

Nowadays, Ryan can cure the traceless stretching spell, but there is a problem that follows: if the material of the artifact is not good, even if the magic is solidified, it will lose its effect due to the aging of the material.

But at least it's longer than the previous three months.

Soon, Ryan was ready.

When he came outside, Professor McGonagall was waiting for him. When he saw Ryan coming out, he spoke, "Are you ready? You may feel a little uncomfortable after a while, just bear with it."

"Phantom shift?"

"You even know this?" Professor McGonagall asked in surprise.

"Yes, the Death Eaters have left behind a lot of books."

"That's really... OK, grab my hand, we're going to move." Professor McGonagall stumbled on his lower lips. She wanted to ask the Death Eater if he left behind any books on black magic.

But she quickly realized that it was strange that the Death Eater did not leave behind the black magic books.

Ryan did not feel any discomfort with the squeezing feeling caused by the phantom shift, because he also moved instantly.

How could Reinn not try this kind of magical skill?

After failing more than ten times, Leon mastered this skill. As for the broken body caused by the failure of the phantom movement, Leon used taboo spells to recover.

"The First Explanation of Taboo Knowledge" records several powerful and cheap spells, one of which is time backtrack.

Time Backtrack: The body of the designated casting object can be restored to the appearance of an hour ago, at the cost of permanently losing half of the magic power in the body, and can only be used once a day.

But be aware that there is actually no consequence for using it yourself, because after losing half of your magic power, your body will recover to what it was an hour ago.

In other words, this spell is actually a powerful recovery spell for oneself, and it will be paid for others to use.

Think about it, if you use this spell every hour in battle in the future, isn’t it simply a perpetual motion machine?

Professor McGonagall thought that Ryan would crawl on the ground and vomit, but he didn't expect Ryan to be looking at her like a ok person.

"Have you learned Phantom Movement?" Professor McGonagall asked uncertainly.

"I succeeded by luck." Professor McGonagall couldn't help but twitch.

"How dare you... Do you know the danger of this spell? Even if Hogwarts has a teacher, only wizards over seventeen are allowed to learn! Do you know why this is because at that time the little wizards had the magic and knowledge accumulation to learn this spell......"

"But I have no one to teach me."

Ryan's light words made Professor McGonagall swallow the rest of his words into his stomach.

She looked at the little wizard in front of her and felt a little distressed for the first time.

It was like an ignorant young child picked up a gun and fired a shot.

If the young child's gun is directed at him, the consequences will be unimaginable.

"Okay, kid, I'm not blaming you, it's just that magic is magical, but it can easily cause harm to yourself. From now on, you will have a teacher to teach you. Now, let me take you to see the magic world."

Professor McGonagall finished this sentence quickly and then took Ryan to the entrance of the alley.

Only then did Ryan notice that the place where he was was originally an unmanned alley, but before he could think too much, Ryan ran to chase Professor McGonagall.

This is a bustling street with people coming and going. Professor McGonagall's strange costumes attracted a lot of attention, but after paying attention for a while, I didn't care anymore. Everyone was very busy.

Professor McGonagall took Ryan to a street light where a family stood.

The man is tall and thin, wearing a decent handmade suit and combed his hair meticulously. He looks like he knows that this is a successful person.

The woman was wearing a light pink long skirt, tied a ponytail, and stood gracefully beside the man.

There was also a little girl in front of them, with brown and fluffy hair. She looked around from time to time, then walked around, and you could tell that she was very nervous.

"Good morning, Mr. Granger, Mrs. Granger, and Miss Granger." Professor McGonagall smiled and went forward to say hello. She had a good impression of the little witch who was full of curiosity.

"Hello, Professor McGonagall." Mr. Granger also greeted him, and Mrs. Granger nodded and signaled.

"Good morning, Professor McGonagall. Oh, is he a new wizard like me?" Hermione soon discovered Ryan who was following Professor McGonagall.

"Oh, by the way, let me introduce it. This young wizard who is also a new school student, Ryan Zell." Professor McGonagall made way and revealed Ryan behind him.

"Hello you guys." Reine replied with a smile.

"Hello, my name is Hermione Granger." Hermione also introduced himself.

"Okay, let's go, today there are a lot of things to buy." After briefly introducing everyone, Professor McGonagall took them to a shabby bar.

The sign reads "Broken Cauldron Bar", and the word is still flashing.

Professor McGonagall pushed open the door that seemed to be able to be removed with a little force and walked in first.

Then everyone followed in. The inside of the bar was as ragged as outside. The dark roof, greasy tabletops, the dim room and the drinkers in strange clothes all made Mr. Granger and Mrs. Granger a little uncomfortable.

Mr. Granger moved his body, and everything around him made him feel that he was the out of place, although that was the case.

"Hey, Professor McGonagall, are you going to have something to come today?" asked the middle-aged man in a bartender uniform with wrinkles on his face.

"Sorry, Tom, I need to take the freshman to Diagon Alley." Professor McGonagall signaled.

"Oh, it's time for another one year to enter school, time." Tom said while wiping the wine glass in his hand.

"Okay, Tom, I'll come again someday," Professor McGonagall replied.

Then he turned around and said to Ryan and the Granger family, "Come with me."

"Tom is the owner of this bar, and this bar is also the entrance to Diagon Alley. The wine is good and the accommodation is also available."

Professor McGonagall took Ryan and Granger's family to the backyard of the bar, then pointed to the trash can beside him and said, "Remember this trash can, its position will not change. Count three pieces upwards, then count two pieces horizontally, and then tap three times with a magic wand."
