Chapter 130: Promise

On a street below the skyscraper, there is a square. A middle-aged man with a little fat body drove out of the garage. He saw someone surrounding the square just after driving out. He glanced unconsciously and found that there were a pair of eyes inside that seemed to glance at him.

Just one glance made him feel like a magical power, slowly stopping the car and getting out of the car. He walked to the side, looked at the crowded crowd, and slowly squeezed over, and saw the man painting virtually in the air with a soft-hearted pen. The lines could even appear in the air, just like painting on a piece of paper standing up in the air.

"Oh, God, it's so amazing." Someone was exclaiming.

The bird is drawn in the air, a bird outlined with lines. However, after outlining the whole body of the bird and then drawing the eyes, the bird suddenly flapped its wings, flew up, and then flapped its wings, and flew into the sky, turning into a black dot, disappearing.

"Crazy" everyone around clapped and clapped desperately, and was moved by this amazing performance.

"Okay, guys, now the show is over." The performer bowed to the people around him, stood up and prepared to leave.

But some people are still unwilling to leave because it is so exciting. They want to see if this person will perform in some place again. But that person really has no intention of performing again.

So the onlookers were unwilling to give up but had to disperse. The magic performer was an Asian young man, and the middle-aged man followed the man and said, "Hey, man, wait."

The young Asian man stopped, turned around, looked at him, and opened his arms and said, "I'm sorry, sir, I said I won't perform anymore. I have to go to drive my plane. I plan to fly to Los Angeles."

"No, no, wait, I guess you may be a magic lover, or a magic master, but man... why don't you give yourself a chance? Stay here... I'll give you a chance, and you give yourself a chance." The middle-aged man stretched out his hand at the young man, "Neil Starr, the head of Lion Dance Films. I hope we can cooperate."

"Lion Dance Film? I've heard of it, one of the top ten film companies in the United States." The young man smiled, "But... why are you interested in a person who performs magic? Even if you are making magic movies, you don't have to have a magician perform, so... where is the opportunity you mentioned?"

"Banquet performance." Neil Starr said to the young man, "In two days, we will hold a cocktail party at the most luxurious private estate in New York. I hope you can perform for us."

"Perform for you rich people?" The young man smiled disdainfully.

"This is your opportunity, this is my business card. With it, you will get an invitation to attend the cocktail party. This is the pass." Neil Starr nodded to the young man and still stretched out his hand.

The young man finally took it over and shrugged his shoulders: "I never print business cards for myself. Can you tell me Huan? Jia. I am from China."

Neil Starr nodded and said, "Don't miss the time. I hope you can arrive on time at 7 o'clock the next night. Remember, this is the opportunity I give you, and it is also your own opportunity." Then he turned around and left.

"I have an assistant!" said the young man.

"No problem...you can bring him with you."

Neil Starr was happy, and even whistled while driving. He discovered a magical magician, and he seemed to see countless money in this young man.

Seeing that Neil Starr left, Jia Huan couldn't help but laugh, picked up the business card and returned to the same way. At night, Carlos came back, but he was in a bad mood. As soon as he came back, he said to Jia Huan who was lying on the sofa watching TV: "I haven't found a job, but I will definitely do it tomorrow."

"No, don't wait until tomorrow. You have a job now, temporary." Jia Huan threw a business card to Carlos, "This is our job, you are my assistant now."

"What assistant?" Carlos was a little confused, took the business card and couldn't help but jump up and said, "Neil Starr? My God, where did you get it?"

"He found me, and then gave me this and asked me to perform for his cocktail party. But I was still thinking about it and see what price he could give me!" Jia Huan shrugged and said indifferently.

"Oh my god, okay, first of all, you're really lucky. Do you know who this Neil? Steel is? The head of Lion Dance Films, many celebrities are famous for his Lion Dance films." Seeing Jia Huan so calm, Carlos said with a little regret, "You have to go. I will do whatever I need to do."

"It's a pity that I'm just a magician, not an actor." Jia Huan shrugged and spread his hands helplessly and said, "Do you expect him to turn a magician into a movie star?"

"Oh, my god, have you forgotten that there are many industries under his name? The most famous of them is the TV network. Think about it, VOB cable TV networks distributed throughout the United States. If you can have his best promoter, my god, you can simply talk to God." Carlos was still very excited.

"Okay, but only if you are my assistant."

"No problem, this is really okay." Carlos made an OK gesture to Jia Huan, and then shook his head, "I went out for a day and was rolled by people everywhere. It seems... I really shouldn't have gone out, as long as you go out, I'm going to be hired by you anyway."

Jia Huan smiled slightly and didn't say anything.

In New York nights, there are lights everywhere, just like the stars in the sky. Looking down from a high place, I feel like looking down at all living beings, and the sun, moon, and stars are all under my feet.

"Happy, today you will meet with me as an important guest."

In a luxurious room, a middle-aged man said to the back of a slim woman. When he stood up, he wanted to walk over and hug the woman's waist.

"Don't touch me, Mr. Starr, we have an appointment first. You can help me with the investment in this movie, and then talk about other things." The woman turned slowly and looked at the middle-aged man coldly and said, "After all, this is also a favorable thing for you. Everyone knows... My box office appeal now... and I also believe that this movie will definitely be one of my best movies, it is a mutually beneficial thing, not a transaction."

"I don't care about good box office and good movies, it's easy for me. I can invest in many movies that make me make a lot of money in a year. You should trust my abilities." Neil Starr stretched out his finger and pinched the woman's chin. "Helen, I just want you to know that I'm different to you and others, and... my cocktail party, you are my female companion, and... I can tell you that I'm not that aggressive."

"Then what do you want from me?" The woman waved her head, broke free from his fingers, and looked at him disdainfully, "If you are a gentleman..."

"I was a gentleman, remember, Helen, no one owes you. Fame and talent cannot be equated with box office. Everything must be witnessed by the market. I can give you an opportunity to invest, that is, you can do it yourself." Neil Starr snorted, "You know I like you, I even want to marry you, but... you have never given me a chance. Is this fair to me?"

Helen didn't say anything.

Neil Starr did not use the money and power in his hands to force himself to surrender. Instead, he was asking him to do something for himself. Although this cocktail party was related to his acquisition of another film company, the most important thing was that it really gave her the opportunity to invest in her films.
