Chapter 19 I Dumped Him

"Look, Elizabeth, this is what you asked for yourself, be careful... My fist may touch your chest!" David Gustin stretched out his hand at Elizabeth with a smile on his face. Obviously, his hand was running towards Elizabeth's chest.

He really decided to do this when he went there.

With a "bang!", David Gustin was punched in the nose.

A sudden punch, David Gustin did not dodge, and immediately took several steps backwards, sat down on the ground, and blood suddenly burst out from his nose.

"Oh my god, oh, damn it. You're done, Elizabeth, no woman has ever treated me like this." David Gustin struggled to get up from the ground, but before he could fully stand up, he fell to the ground.

He KOed this guy with one punch. It seems that the power of Elizabeth's fist is really powerful.

The rest of the people wanted to come over to help, but when Elizabeth glared at him, he didn't dare to move. Yes, if Elizabeth could easily knock David Gustin down, then it would be useless if they went up.

"If I were you, the most important thing to do now is to send this guy to the hospital. There is a hospital in the small town here. Do you want me to call you?" Elizabeth couldn't help but shrugged, spread his hands, and without waiting for them to answer, he said, "Okay, if you don't answer, I'm leaving!"

As she said that, she shook Lisa's hand and walked towards the way home.

When Elizabeth left, the guys rushed towards David Gustin who was lying on the ground, and helped David Gustin up with all his might. The guy sat up, shook his head, and said, "I can clearly touch it, why am I lying on the ground--" Before he finished speaking, he fell to the ground again.

Lisa's laughter never stopped along the way. She jumped and smiled at Elizabeth: "I'm really happy today. That bastard really deserves to beat him up. I've long disliked him. I saw him fall down with a 'slap', haha, it's really cool, Elizabeth, this is really cool."

Elizabeth smiled and shrugged her shoulders.

"Actually, I can still kick his little DD. I think that should be enough for him."

The two of them were joking while walking. After they got home, Elizabeth went back first, waved goodbye to Lisa, and then turned around and walked into his living room.

"Elizabeth, hey, can you stay for me for two minutes?" Suddenly, a voice stopped Elizabeth. When she turned around, she saw Mr. Cott sitting on the sofa and looking at him with a serious expression, while her mother Sanna looked at her with some concern.

"Of course, dad, is there anything wrong?" Elizabeth walked to the sofa, chose a seat, and sat down, facing his father, with his elbows on his knees, looking at him as if he was so gentle.

Mr. Cotter coughed dryly, looked at Elizabeth with a serious look and said, "Listen, Elizabeth, my dear, you have to understand what we are."

"Yes, I know, I told Lisa alone! I didn't say anything other than that." Elizabeth said to Mr. Cotter, "I promise we will continue to stay here and will not go anywhere, okay?"

"I knew it was, and that's why I always feel an invisible pressure these days, just like last time I asked about the things in the lake," Mr. Cotter continued, "No, Elizabeth, we have to move, we have to leave here."

"No, Dad, do you think you're too nervous? We're not that bad. She...she's just my good friend, and I can guarantee that she will never say it." Elizabeth couldn't help but be surprised and quickly said, "This matter is too serious. We can't make decisions like this. Besides, I've submitted applications to several universities... If I go to college, I might leave here soon, right?"

Mr. Cotter had a calm face and no smile. But he did not object immediately.

Yes, Elizabeth is about to graduate from high school now. If she waits for her college admission notice to arrive before leaving, it may not be too late. Anyway, it will only take two months, two months...

"Dad, it only takes two months!" Elizabeth also stretched out his hand and said to him, "Please, I can't just leave like this. There are my friends and my life here. Even if I want to leave, I have to have an explanation, right? And... why do we keep escaping?"

"No, we are not escaping, we are trying to integrate into human society. We are originally a mistake made by God. We can only keep a low profile in this way so that we can continue to live in this world." Mr. Cott sighed, and he decided to compromise. He hoped that there would be no trouble and waved his hand, "I have to think about it carefully."

Elizabeth nodded, looked at her father, then looked at her mother, then slowly got up and walked towards her room. She was indeed frightened just now.

Lisa returned home and happened to see Joseph coming home. He looked at Lisa and said, "I don't have time to cook dinner tonight. Let's go to town to eat! Or order takeaway."

"Sort takeout!" Lisa walked into the house and said to Joseph who followed in, "Who came from Huan?"

"Yes, I went to Prescott's house with him, but... things didn't go very well, and then I went home with him." Joseph said with a smile, "You call..."

"I'll call to order takeaway." Lisa put her schoolbag on her back, then sat on the sofa, picked up the landline next to her, and was about to call when she suddenly remembered something, turned to look at Joseph and said, "Hey, dad, can I ask, what are you talking to Huan? Is it about me?"

"About you? Why is it about you?" Joseph also sat down, rubbed his neck, remembered something, stood up, and prepared to make himself a cup of coffee.

"Don't you just want to say this together?" Lisa shook her head with some dissatisfaction, "I guess he must have not told you that I have dumped him, right? I knew... Looking at your expression, I knew, you must not know, he is really hypocritical."

Joseph said in surprise: "What the hell are you talking about?"

"I said, I dumped Huan, are you surprised?" Lisa snorted dissatisfied, "When I said I like him, he immediately told you. This is the vanity of a man."

"Don't talk about this, okay, I've heard it, you dumped Huan, right?" Joseph became energetic and nodded, "I knew he had a way. Huan promised me that he would handle your affairs with him. It seems... he is really a person worth trusting."

"What? He said he would handle my relationship with him well? Oh, my god, I said, Dad, the breakup was what I told him, I took the initiative to say it, not him... Well, actually, I didn't say how to break up, but... I no longer care about the words I said before."

"I agree with this." Joseph said with a smile, "No matter who said it, I like the result very much. But... I don't agree with the words you said later."

"What sentence?" Lisa shrugged her shoulders.

"He is not hypocritical, Lisa, he is a very good person, and he saved your life twice." Joseph looked at Lisa and said, "He is not an ordinary person, he is my friend, so... please stop talking about this?"

"Okay, I can't believe it..." Lisa shook her head, then picked up the phone and said, "Hey, is it the Little Pinecone Pizza Shop? This is Joseph Cox's home,... OK, thank you, goodbye!"

The sun gradually sets.

The night began to cover the sky above the town. Jia Huan was still sitting on the balcony, holding a cup of coffee. The bitter smell lingered in his mouth, which made him keep a very clear mind.

The birds in the woods fluttered between the branches from time to time.

There seemed to be wind in the sky, and the woods made a rustling sound from time to time, accompanied by the roar of some wild beasts. The dark things in the woods seemed to be slowly spreading throughout the night.

The moonlight had just been revealed, but after a gust of wind blew, the dark clouds slowly blocked the light. Jia Huan was still sitting on the balcony, and the light leaking from the living room illuminated a corner of the balcony.

The wind blew the leaves and made the leaves clatter. It wasn't very calm tonight! Jia Huan took a sip of coffee, shook his head, and said softly.
