Chapter 3 The Pale Full Moon
"I like it very much." Joseph sat on the balcony in front of the cabin, but handed over a cup of tea, and then said to Jia Huan, "Thank you, but I have a question, why haven't you changed in the past ten years?"
"I haven't changed at all, am I still Huan?" Jia Huan also sat down and held a cup of tea. "I won't become another person!" He shook his head and smiled as he said.
Joseph also laughed and took a sip of tea: "You know that's not what I mean."
The two chatted like old friends. Joseph would often come here to sit. There were not many people in Harold Town, and Joseph lived in a relatively remote place. Jia Huan's house was closer to him, and because Jia Huan had saved him and Lisa, he had a very special relationship with Jia Huan.
"I don't mean that either!" Jia Huan raised the teacup to Joseph, "Although I have lived in Harold Town for more than ten years, they have never thought I had integrated here. I am like..."
"Frankenstein?" Joseph laughed, "I have heard of it...it's just a similar name. For them...you are like this. A Chinese person, you have never been with them before, and you don't often..."
"If I care about this, I think I have been dead for a hundred years..." Jia Huan laughed.
"One hundred years?" Joseph also laughed. Over the years, he had heard Jia Huan say too many things, but he always regarded it as a joke, the humor of the Chinese? Maybe it was.
After the two drank tea for a while, Joseph said goodbye. Yes, he could find spiritual comfort here and feel very quiet. Lisa's rebellious feeling bothered Joseph, but after Joseph sat here for a while, his mood had calmed down.
"Goodbye, Joseph!" Jia Huan waved goodbye to Joseph.
After walking for a while, Joseph suddenly stopped, then turned to Jia Huan and said, "Huan, I want to ask a question..."
Jia Huan shrugged and spread his hands.
"Have you ever seen Melissa like this? I mean... a vampire..."
"No, there are too many possibilities in this world. I have my own job here. I have been to many places..." Jia Huan looked at Joseph and waved his hand, "Whether you believe it or not, this is this damn world." But he did not grit his teeth, but looked very calm.
"Are you doing this all the time? I mean...we have a lot of such people here... vampires?" Joseph pursed his lips. In fact, he didn't want to believe this fact.
Jia Huan shrugged his shoulders and didn't say anything. Joseph knew that he would definitely not have any result when he asked again. So he nodded, then turned around and continued to walk home. Anyway, since he experienced Melissa's incident, he had never seen such a vampire again.
When he returned home, Joseph looked at his watch. It was already five o'clock in the afternoon, but Lisa had not returned home yet. She should have come back at this time. Frowning, he picked up his cell phone.
"Lisa, listen..." As soon as the phone was answered, Joseph couldn't help but say.
"I know, dad, I will come back, but today is my classmate's birthday, I have to celebrate his birthday party, you know I have to do this, she is a good friend, you don't want me to be a hated person, right? She is very important to me, it is Elizabeth, you know, Elizabeth, I have been here at our house, I have been here three times, you like her very much, it is a good girl... it is my dad..." The next sentence of Lisa seemed to say to another person.
There was someone around Lisa, but it seemed like a female voice, which made Joseph let go of his snacks. He knew that Elizabeth was at least a reassuring girl. So he added: "No matter how late it is, remember to go home. If no one gives you a message, call me." After that, he hung up the phone.
Lisa hung up her phone, turned around, and said to a girl next to her, holding her waist with one hand, "My dad trusts you very much, but he doesn't believe in Sean Breal, this is the most troublesome thing about me."
"Wow—you can't play with that bastard Brill, really? God... Good luck, Lisa, in my opinion, Brill is a bastard!" Elizabeth made an exaggerated expression.
"You will get to know him again. Do you think I will be a savior? He is specifically for saving the bastard..." Lisa also smiled at Elizabeth and made a move to put her hips on her hips, ""
Two people were talking, a boy in a jacket and looking very punk came over, with a ring on his nose. He stretched out his hands and hugged the two girls' waists: "Hey, girls, what are you talking about? Today is your birthday, Elizabeth, do you know what gifts should I prepare?"
"God knows what you will give, I don't have any hope." Elizabeth twisted her body and tried to get rid of the boy's hug, but the guy hugged her very tightly and didn't break free.
"Hey, Lisa, what do you like like about this bastard?" Elizabeth glared at Lisa, hummed, and struggled again. This time she broke free. The boy let go of his hand, opened his arm, waved upwards in the air, and then made a gesture of asking for advice.
Elizabeth snorted, twisted her waist and left. This is her home, and she has to decide. She doesn't like this bastard. Brill is just a bastard. He dares to flirt with him in front of Lisa. He is such a damn scum.
"I like her little ass!" Sean Brill put his hands around Lisa's waist, stood behind her, pressing against her back, and stretched out his tongue and licked Lisa's earlobe. "Are you a little excited now? Seeing me flirting with your good friend? Your hobby is really special...why do we go to bed today? Ah-God, let go..."
"This is telling you, don't mention this. I hate this, you know...Shawn, you're just a tool I use to deal with my father and my friends... Don't think about other things, just remember this!" Lisa's hand relaxed, and Sean Brill's body curled like a shrimp, his legs were clamped, and his teeth were grinding in pain.
The party was very lively, but there were only drinks and cakes, some cookies and fruits. But there was also very exciting music, so the kids were happy.
"Today's night is beautiful!" Elizabeth walked around twice and walked to Lisa, "Where is your Sean? I saw him there with my most hated Carly Hitos, that little S guy with S. The most seducing other people's boyfriend. I actually did this at my birthday party..."
"How old are you this year?" Lisa glanced over there. Sure enough, Sean Brill spoke to a blond girl, and from time to time he did some intimate hair lifting. The girl was quite enjoying it. However, after Lisa glanced at her, she stopped looking over there.
"Seventeen years old... Haha, no, I'm already eighteen. That's it. I'm already an adult. I could have been drunk today. But my parents still didn't let me drink. I really don't understand... why do you turn a blind eye to that bastard's despicable behavior?" Elizabeth was still a little angry. She was not worth it for her good friend.
"I have a sense of responsibility..." Lisa shrugged at Elizabeth, "Okay, I should leave, otherwise my father will be anxious. Can you send me a ride?"
"No, you should go find Sean Breil!" Elizabeth snorted, then turned around and left.
Lisa shrugged her shoulders to her back and spread her hands helplessly. Then she glanced over there and saw that Sean Brill from the other side of the swimming pool also looked over. Lisa hooked her fingers at him. Sean made a move that was spreading her hands and was a little confused.
Lisa waved again, and Sean Brill slowly walked over reluctantly, then stood in front of Lisa and said dissatisfiedly: "What? You don't let me touch it, you can't let me pick up girls? To be honest... I hate my current role, damn..."
"Don't swear in front of me, okay?" Lisa frowned at him, then walked outside, and said without looking back, "Send me home, and...you can go to anyone, it has nothing to do with me."
Sean Brill opened his hand to her back, looking helpless, but he still followed Lisa toward the outside. Lisa didn't see Elizabeth at the door, so he had to shake his head helplessly, and then said to Sean Brill: "Go and get your car, I'll wait for you here!"
Sean Brill snorted, as if expressing dissatisfaction, but he still walked towards his parking place. In less than a few minutes, Lisa heard the roar of the motorcycle. Sean used the roar of the throttle to express his dissatisfaction. Yes, he was very dissatisfied. Until now, he had not brought this little beauty to the bed.
The motorcycle stopped beside Lisa. Lisa took the helmet he handed over and put it on, then rode on the back of the motorcycle, and her hands were still wrapped around Sean Brill's waist. However, she kept the distance carefully, and she didn't put it on.
"Sit down, Lisa. I'm always your knight...you'll understand what I think about you." Sean Brell said, then rushing the accelerator and heading towards the door. As the accelerator roared, the motorcycle disappeared into the night.
