Chapter 2 Gringotts

The north wind was tight all night, and in the quiet night, Alan opened his eyes in confusion, and a huge figure stood at the head of the bed in a daze. Alan's heart seemed to be tightly grabbed by a pair of big hands. He pulled the light away in a hurry. Alan let out a long sigh, and it turned out to be the outline of the coat on the hanger. He drank a sip of water, calmed his heartbeat, and fell asleep again.

In the early morning, the snow was clear, the sky was blue, and the air was fresh. After washing up, Allen took his sister to play in the hall, waiting for the others to pack up and have breakfast.

"Allen, you and your sister eat first, don't wait." Mrs. Harris happily directed the sandwich and milk to fly over.

"Okay, mom." Although she missed the side dishes very much, Alan was satisfied with the ability to have a sandwich with fried eggs and red sausage. Although her family was not very wealthy, Mrs. Harris was never stingy in the diet of the children. As a nurse, she knew very well the importance of a healthy body to humans.

"Good morning, mom." Lun was dressed very neatly.

"Dear, I smell the food." Mr. Harris followed.

Daisy and Albert came down last.

Albert was eating breakfast calmly. When Mrs. Harris urged him, he said that he would not go to buy things today and he wanted to go back to the department to report some things. Since he received the task of protecting Harry Potter half a year ago, he transferred Allen, who was the same age as Harry, to the elementary school where Harry was, to get close to Harry. Before Allen had an accident, he finally obtained the Muggle teacher qualification certificate and successfully applied for the elementary school where Allen and Harry were, so that he could protect Harry closer! However, Allen, who had not been traveling for a long time, knew nothing about this.

The Harris and his wife were very capable and tacitly packed up their items.

Allen is looking forward to leaving, not knowing whether it is a wizard carpet or a magic broom, or a Floor Net, a door key, or a phantom movement. If it is a flying car, it must be very exciting.

"Allen, come on." Mrs. Harris had already greeted him outside the door.

Now, after walking about 200 meters, the six of the family came under a street light on the street. In Allen's eyes, this street light was no different from ordinary street lights.

"Harris Diagon Alley, Vistota." As Mr. Harris' magic wand flashed, the street lights lit up. The purple light was clearly visible in such clear sunlight, forming a contour similar to that of an ordinary shopping mall elevator on the ground. The family walked into the aperture hand in hand. Mrs. Harris gently pressed the groove of the lamp post, and a long stone box of gray appeared. She put six copper sodium numbers in it, pressed the groove again, and the stone box quickly retracted. The purple light flashed dazzlingly.

Alan felt the sound of wind in his ears, the sound of talking and laughing, and there seemed to be nothing, just the sound of his blood flowing. It seemed that after a long time, it seemed like just a moment. After staggering for a few steps, he was already in the corner of a grain and oil shop. The streets around the corner were full of air and were very lively.

"What a great space magic. These mysterious Ruchu elves (a magical creature) have made great contributions to the magic world!" Second Coluen sighed.

"Okay, kids, we can come back to experience the magic of space when we return. Now we need to go to Gringott to get some flowers, and then you can get the pocket money for this month." Mr. Harris blinked at Allen and watched the children cheer happily.

"Maybe I can buy myself a new robe." Daisy, who loves beauty, was very excited.

"Then you will have to be very frugal this month!" After saying that, Mrs. Harris touched her little daughter's soft long blonde hair lovingly. Emily was still young, and buying a sweet ice cream was enough to satisfy her.

The family walked and chatted, and arrived in front of a towering white building - Guling Pavilion. The first thing that caught my eye was the shiny bronze gate. This door witnessed the rise and fall of many wizard families! Standing at the door was the fairy guard wearing scarlet gold uniform, bent down to salute as the Allen family stepped into the door, stretched out their wrinkles, and their hairy palms guided the family.

After walking for a while, I saw a silver door with poems engraved on it that warns people not to be greedy.

"It is true that the wealth obtained by using both hands is the most reliable. Don't want to gain nothing." Seeing the youngest son observing, Mr. Harris seized the opportunity to educate.

"So Harry Potter successfully broke in and took away the Hufflepuff Golden Cup with both hands. After hard work, he would not get any bad rewards." Allen thought wildly.

Passing through the second silver door, you enter the spacious marble hall. A huge conical chandelier is hung in the center of the hall. The huge marble columns support the beautiful hall. About a hundred and ten fairies sit behind the long counter, some register in big books, some use balances to call coins, and some use eyepieces to detect gems.

"Volume No. 625." Mr. Harris handed the key to a fairy in a suit and looked like a little old man behind the counter.

"Please follow me." The fairy bowed and pointed the way.

"Oh, my dear, I'm waiting for you here. Do the children want to stay here with me?" Mrs. Harris thought she didn't have to endure the bumps.

"Mom, Emily and I will accompany you." It happened to match Daisy's wish, she was afraid that passing through the corridor would disrupt her carefully tiring hairstyle this morning.

Alan and Lun followed his father and took a tin cart under the guidance of the fairy. The cart quickly passed through the maze-like winding corridor. During the rapid driving, Alan saw an underground lake, with huge, strange-shaped stalactites and stalagmites hanging on the walls and tops of the caves. The cart stopped in front of the giant stone door marked 625.

The fairy opened the stone door with the key, which was different from the miserable scene that Allen guessed. More than a dozen piles of gold and several piles of silver shike emitted an attractive halo in the stone chamber. There were also some very ancient stone tools with unknown uses, and iron tools were placed in an orderly manner on the shelf against the wall.

"Maybe there is some magic that protects them. Although it seems that although it has historical vicissitudes, it is obviously carefully protected." Compared to money, Allen is more interested in these cultural relics-like objects.

"The number is still considerable!" Lun sighed contentedly.

"Frugality is a virtue." Mr. Harris quickly grabbed a few handfuls of Jin Jialong, and then put Yin Xike in a leather bag.

"It should be enough." Mr. Harris patted his bag contentedly and took the children to the cart.

After leaving Gringott, Mr. Harris handed his bag to Mrs. Harris.

"5 gold Gallons, 10 silver Siko. Daisy, this is yours. I think it should be enough to buy a new robe."

"Oh! Thank you, mom, I'm so happy, I love you!" Daisy happily took the coin and expressed her gratitude.

Mrs. Harris took the same amount of coins and handed them to Lunn.

"Thank you mom." Lun took the coin and quickly put it into his backpack.

Allen looked at Mrs. Harris with a gaze.

"Okay, Lun and Daisy can move freely. Remember to gather in front of the restaurant in Moon Palace at 12 o'clock. Don't go to the alley," said Mrs. Harris.

"Mom, where is my pocket money?" For the sake of money, Allen was willing to act cute.

"Good boy, you're with us. How about we go to Tom's shop first and buy you a big ice cream?" Mrs. Harris comforted her son.

"Okay." Although Allen was eager for money, it was really uncomfortable to ask for money, and he hadn't figured out what to buy.

"Dear, why don't you give Ellen a few Silver Sikes first." Seeing his son's depressed look, Mr. Harris couldn't help but plead with mercy.

"Okay, okay, don't lose it." Mrs. Harris loves Mr. Harris very much and is willing to obey her instructions. She handed 10 silver skets to Allen, looked at her youngest daughter, and put 10 copper sodium stencils in Emily's pocket.

"Okay, let's go." Mr. Harris waved his hand and took his family to shop with him in high spirits. The coins in his pocket seemed to be loudly asking for them to be spent.
