409 [Literary and Artistic Youth Song Zhichao]

After talking about important things, there will be no "barrier" for everyone next.

Since I was in the Soviet Union, I had to follow the local customs.

After enjoying a very rich massage service, Song Zhichao followed Yorke and others to the hot springs and then started the formal "dinner".

Of course, the place for the dinner was not an ordinary hotel or an ordinary banquet hall, but a secret social place for the upper class of the Soviet Union.

At the entrance, people in black were guarded by guns and nuclear bombs. Not to mention entering, even if they get a little closer, they will probably eat guns.

Looking at the surrounding buildings, all Russian-style lofts piled up together and turned into a mysterious black castle.

Seeing such a building complex, the first thought flashed through Song Zhichao's mind was the social scene in the "Aristocratic House" by Russian writer Turgenev. Facts proved that Song Zhichao's imagination was really accurate, because the scene after entering was almost exactly the same as the plot in it.

Russian aristocrats will not undergo too many changes due to different times.

...

The luxurious social hall is magnificent, and the top of the hall is hanging high in the sky, with colorful colors on it, carved with gold-colored Nordic mythology images. Looking closely, it is "Odin Travels in the World" in the Nordic mythology:

Odin, the Lord of the Gods, loves traveling and constantly increases his knowledge and wisdom during his travels. Odin therefore often travels to the world, disguises himself as an old man or a wizard, experiences suffering in the world, and punishes evil and promotes good. In the middle garden where humans live, many of Odin's miracles were left behind.

The characters on the entire huge mural are vivid, whether they are gods or people, they are full of realistic desires; and next to the image story, a line of verse is written in Russian:

For eight nights, I never moved my body,

No one gave meat and honey;

Only Angner, the son of Girod,

He will become the master of the Gothic land.

Song Zhichao looked carefully and remembered clearly that this should be the famous "Song of Grimneil" in Odin's travels on earth.

If the entire magnificent hall is full of Western art such as murals, then what makes the entire venue more vivid is the purple tulips arranged around the hall and still bloom in winter.

On the cold winter day, when you see these bright flowers, your first feeling is that you embrace the rare "spring".

In fact, in Song Zhichao's opinion, although this place looks like a palace, it is actually more like a very high-end "private club". Not to mention the luxurious decoration, the most important thing is that it is full of mysterious charm.

...

"How about it, dear Song, are you satisfied with this place? How about it compared to you in Hong Kong?" Yorke intended to show off in front of Song Zhichao, so he snapped his fingers beautifully and ordered a glass of "Matini". He asked while drinking.

Song Zhichao smiled, looked around, and said, "It's very good, low-key and luxurious, with connotation."

Yorkf: "…"

He was obviously stunned and then said, "Dear Song, you can always hear some fresh and alert words from your mouth. If you don't know that you are a businessman, I would have thought you were a writer."

Song Zhichao was very thick-skinned, and just smiled slightly at this and said, "I love literature too. Just like the poem written on this mural, it should be the story that happened after Odin transformed into Grimneil. Grimneil, who was tortured, took the horn cup and took a sip of water. At this time, the flames in the brazier behind him had already burned his dark blue top. Under the reflection of the fire, Odin, who transformed into Grimneil, sang this poem. In the poem, he described in detail the origin of the world and mankind, the gods who ruled the world and the gods in the Garden of Asa. Finally, he told the person in front of him that he himself was Odin, the supreme ruler of the world."

If at the beginning, Yorkfu's words were just polite praise or even ridicule, he did not really expect Song Zhichao to say any verses of the lotus like a writer, but Song Zhichao's unmarked "quotation" directly told Yorkfu how proficient Song Zhichao's understanding of Russian literature was.

At this moment, let alone Yorkf, Bodoev and others began to look at Song Zhichao with admiration. They thought they were just a cunning and stinky Hong Kong businessman, but they didn't expect that they were still a literary youth.

In this era, "literary and artistic" is definitely synonymous with nobleness and can be eaten anywhere.

Therefore, Song Zhichao was immediately hugged by Yorke and laughed: "Dear Song, I admire you more and more! Yes, you are a beautiful friend!"

The Yorker's life of military service was a powerful general, but to put it bluntly, he was a rough man with little ink in his belly. If he hadn't been promoted to become a general, he would probably not even know a few words.

But Yorkf is a person who likes art of nature very much. Especially in this upper class, art of nature is very popular. Especially if you don’t have any writing in your heart, you hope that others will say that you are educated, knowledgeable, and tasteful.

...

The banquet is underway—

The Russian-style "dinner" is different from the traditional Chinese dinners, and is even more different from the British gentleman's dinner, French romantic dinner, and American-style open dinners. If you have to describe it, it is "drinking and howling wildly, and being unrestrained."

Russians are addicted to alcohol. From the upper class to the lower class, almost every man loves alcohol, and even many women like to drink. Perhaps because of the severe cold weather, strong alcohol has become a necessity in their lives.

In the past, Song Zhichao saw on many gossip news that every winter, Russia issued a ban on alcohol and strictly ordered that drinking was not allowed at night. The reason was that many men often slept on the streets after drinking, and were eventually frozen to death.

Now, when he came to the Soviet Union several times, Song Zhichao only occasionally saw some Soviet Russians drinking, but this was his first time to come into contact with the way of drinking at a "feast".

The huge wine glass like a spittoon - According to Yorke, this was the ancestor of their Kiev region, the Vikings, who slashed the enemies and made a wine glass with their heads and used them to drink. Then this custom was passed down and became the favorite of the warriors. In short, they took the wine glass as big as a spittoon, filled with strong wine vodka, and then the men took turns to one, each with a big glass.

Those who drink all in one breath will be praised by everyone on the scene, and those who are wilted after taking a few sips will be ridiculed.
