Chapter VI The Second Dead

On December 12, the police had already withdrawn from the school, and everything in the teaching building had returned to normal. It was the human heart that could never be returned.

The atmosphere in the faculty and staff room seemed very peaceful, and the teachers tried their best to act like usual, chatting, resting, and scolding students. But everyone's afterglow would occasionally glance at Matsuo's original seat, and at that moment, they couldn't tell what it felt like.

Because the class teacher died, he could not find a replacement in a short period of time, so the school temporarily found a substitute teacher for Ikeda and his class.

He was a gray-haired old man, probably a retired teacher hired from outside. Seeing him riding a bicycle to school to take advantage of his remaining heat at the age of cold wind, he couldn't help but feel a little sympathy.

Whether he is really interested in education or forced by life, he is much better than a guy like Matsuo. Even if the students can't respect him, at least they won't hate him as much as they think of Matsuo.

Half a day passed quietly. Although someone had talked about Matsuo, his expression was far less enthusiastic than yesterday. Perhaps this is the most tragic thing about "people". People are so easily forgotten by their kind, because each of us only remembers ourselves.

"Miura." Ikeda walked to Miura and shouted with his name.

Miura changed his face immediately after hearing this. Ikeda dared to talk to him on his own initiative, which surprised him. Because Ikeda was always bullied by Miura, there was no possibility of him talking to him on his own initiative. Even if he was forced to say a few words, he would definitely call him with respect first. But today, he said the word "Miura" with a serious look on his face.

"Is there anything?" Miura's reaction was quick, and he speculated that this abnormal phenomenon must be related to what happened the night before yesterday.

Did he see me with the wet mosquito coil?

Miura's worries did not become a reality, but a more terrifying situation happened. Ikeda's next sentence made Miura feel like he was struck by lightning.

“September 4.”

After Ikeda said this, he turned his head calmly and left, returning to his seat, as if nothing had happened.

Miura did not stop him, but sat in her position in shock, her eyes losing focus.

Halfway through the first class in the afternoon, Miura suddenly said she was unwell and left the classroom. Then she went to the teacher's office to take leave and go home early.

"Kill him... Kill him... Bastard... That bastard... Must kill him..." From the moment Miura walked out of the classroom, he began to mutter with gritted teeth, and the fierce expression on his face was creepy.

On September 4th, not many people knew the meaning of this sentence, but Ikeda was definitely not one of them. He would tell Miura that there was only one reason, because that was the condition for trading with Tianyi.

"You can just say 'September 4' to Miura at 1:00 tomorrow afternoon. After doing this, you can come to me to complete the transaction."

Looking back at Tenchi's words at that time, Ikeda couldn't figure it out, but it didn't matter anymore. It was just a stupid word. What consequences could it have?

In the evening of that day, several wild cats pushed down a trash can while searching for food, and Miura's head rolled out of it.

This is how his body was found in an alley. The place was not on his way home, and his family later proved that he did not go back after taking leave from school that day.

The police speculated that this place was not the first scene, because Miura had been dismembered, and the body thrown in the trash can was split into more than ten pieces, and was stuffed in a large garbage bag.

After school, Ikeda was completely unaware of this. He couldn't wait to come to Tianyi's bookstore. After pushing the door and stumbled to Tianyi's desk and said, "Hurry! Tell me quickly! Matsuo's purpose of sneaking into the school tonight! And why Miura wanted to kill people!"

Tianyi scratched his hair and yawned: "Miura is dead."

Ikeda was in the original place, "What...what...what did you say..."

"I don't want to repeat the same sentence, it will make me stupid, just like you."

"Impossible! He has obviously come to school today! I even told him..."

"Yes, I know. Later he asked for leave and went home, and then he died."

"How could he die...how did he die?"

"I was hacked to death." Tenchi took a sip of coffee, raised his eyelids and glanced at Ikeda: "Do you want to know who did it?"

"Who is it?"

"Do you want to know? Then do an exchange. If you are willing to exchange all the information you deserve in the current transaction, I will tell you who killed Miura." Tianyi gave up his choice again.

Ikeda said angrily: "Do you want to deceive me again?"

"Careful? It's ridiculous. The choice in the transaction has always been your freedom. Don't attribute your stupidity to me." Tianyi sneered.

Ikeda thought about it again and again before answering: "I want the original information and don't change my choice!"

Tenchi was still sarcastic: "Oh, this time it was a paranoid choice, but it was still stupid." He began to say with his head on his hands: "First of all, the reason why Matsuo went to school is very simple. Miura asked him to go there."

"Why?" Ikeda asked.

"That's time to explain the general situation after the general situation is finished." Tianyi said, "Miura made up her mind to kill someone from the beginning and silence him. That day he deliberately stayed until very late before returning home. When the students on duty and the handyman who cleaned the sanitation left, he tugged on the window on the first floor. He only had a piece of transparent tape. It looked like it was closed from any side. In fact, there was still a small gap to lock it.

At 10 o'clock in the evening, he contacted Matsuo by phone and rushed to the school with his prepared murder weapon.

Matsuo arrived soon afterwards, and he was not stupid either. He thought it was strange that the other party asked him to come to an uninhabited school in the middle of the night, but Miura mentioned the number on the phone very much, and greed made Matsuo unable to control himself.

The door of the instructor's office was opened to the side, and Miura crossed a wire from behind the door at a height of fifteen centimeters from the ground. It was impossible to turn on the light blatantly. In the case of poor light, Matsuo opened the door and could only vaguely see the cash box on the table. This guy really lived up to his expectations. He stepped forward excitedly and was immediately tripped. Miura, who was hiding in the shadow of the corner of the wall behind the door, pounced on him, suppressed the other party with his weight and prevented him from getting up. Then he quickly pressed Matsuo's back neck with his knees, held the rope with both hands, and strangled him to death.

In this way, the power of strangling the neck is raised from the bottom direction, and the reaction force can press the victim to the ground. Even people with average wrist strength can strangle those who are much stronger than themselves. It is naturally very easy for Miura to strangle the thin Matsuo to death.

After Matsuo died, Miura hung him up, which was not too much effort for him. He packed up the steel wires on the scene, checked and cleaned the footprints left on the high ground, and put all the things that might be evidence into the empty cash box he brought. Miura completed a pretty good murder.

But the problem is that he closed the door and was about to leave when he heard you going upstairs."

The more Ikeda heard, the more terrified I was. A murder was talked about by Tenichi in such a casual tone. "Then Miura hid in the dark and observed me?"

Tianyi said: "Yes, he actually had a murderous intention to kill you at that time, but he didn't do it in the end. You were very determined not to scream, nor did you do anything like leaving excrement in the corridor. You just did something extravagant, and Miura didn't care anymore. Anyway, he did not leak any more." Tianyi took another sip of coffee: "Of course, I think that if he did not do so fine before, he might have killed you. It was precisely because the previous move of disguising Matsuo as suicide was very successful that he didn't want to cause trouble."

Thinking of the terrifying scenes the night before yesterday, now I know that there was always a pair of hands in the darkness that could kill him at any time. Ikeda’s fear was self-evident, and there was a cold sweat behind him.

Tenchi continued: "Now let's talk about the initial question, why did Miura ask Matsuo to go to school.

Actually, you can probably guess most of the time from what I said just now. Matsuo... is indeed trying to blackmail Miura. After all, the other party is the son of the director of a large hospital and his family is very rich.

Miura's handle fell into Matsuo's hands, and people like Matsuo did not dare to blackmail the other party's father directly, so they said to Miura, "It's better to steal the passbook from home or ask your father, it's better to do anything." This ended up leading to the murder."

Ikeda asked again: "What's the handle? Also, how could Miura be killed? Who wants to kill him?"
