125. Trading begins again

The Black Eight Miracle last season was genuine in all fans' hearts. No one thought that the Warriors were lucky, and of course no one thought that the Warriors were indeed stronger than the Mavericks. Everyone understood that the reason why the Warriors could black eight and defeat the Mavericks was that Old Nelson made the first move to the chess.

The series played six games and the Warriors won four games. There was no Chamberlain at that time, so if you want to say that old Nelson is least afraid of which strong team in the league, it is definitely the Mavericks.

After Chamberlain was substituted, the "SUPER-Z" shouts sounded repeatedly in the Oracle Center, and fans were looking forward to his appearance. Since Chamberlain made a strong debut in the NBA, the Warriors have relied on his stunning pillar in the inside to get to where they are today.

Therefore, for many fans, once Chamberlain comes to an end, they start to feel panic.

But senior Warriors fans don't think so. They didn't have Chamberlain last season. Didn't they beat the Mavericks? Besides, Chamberlain has always been known for his physical strength, so he will definitely have a short break and will play.

But today's game surprised them. Since Chamberlain came off the second quarter, he has never made a appearance again, but has been sitting on the bench to watch the game.

What surprised them even more was that the Warriors lost in this game and finally lost seven points at 94:101. In fact, this score was bitten until the last minute. Until two minutes before the end of the game, the Warriors were still following the Mavericks, only two points behind.

However, at the last moment, Nowitzki finally stood up. He played in the penalty area. Evans, Harrington, Pitrus, and even rookie O'Brient were not his opponents. Nowitzki became the MVP of this game and the hero of the Mavericks' victory. In the last two minutes, he became his stage. He scored eight points in a row with free throws and free throws, leading the Mavericks to the final victory.

In fact, as long as Old Nelson replaced Chamberlain, he could avoid all this, but he did not do so, but looked at the court with a gentle look, without seeing the irritability of the past. If he sat next to Old Nelson, he would find that he was only watching two people, Nowitzki and Byron Davis.

In his heart, these two people are two typical disciples, both of whom he once made him extremely proud, one inside and the other outside. The disciple in the inside once became his number one strong player and built a strait for him. The disciple in the outside helped him create a miracle to reverse his opponent's expectations of winning the championship, and revenge for the expulsion humiliation he suffered in Dallas.

Two people, two beautiful memories from the past.

After the game, Old Nelson shook hands with the young general Johnson calmly, and he smiled and said, "Congratulations, you have completed your revenge."

Johnson smiled bitterly. He was extremely looking forward to this revenge, but was this a revenge battle? The enemy did not resist at all, deliberately exposing his chest for him to pierce. What is there to be proud of such revenge?

He also had a long time with Old Nelson. Everything the old man did today made him deeply uneasy. He felt that this strange old man must be planning some conspiracy, otherwise he would never be able to take away the victory from here. Even without Chamberlain, Old Nelson could still command the current lineup to defeat the Mavericks. The young general believed in this!

But the Warriors lost, and the stubborn old man, Old Nelson, gave in!

What's going on?

On December 27, everyone understood the reason. Just early the next morning after the game with the Mavericks, a loud thunderous sound came from the league's trading market again. A news came out through Charlie Rosen's mouth: the Pistons and the Warriors, the Celtics and the Supersonics conducted a three-party transaction. This transaction involved two top organizational point guards in the league, Byron Davis and Chauncey Billups!

Charlie Rosen is the Godfather of the column of Fox Sports News. He has a good relationship with Phil Jackson. He wrote part of his autobiography. He has a wide connection in the league and often has some powerful news, which is highly credible.

According to Rosen's account, in this deal, the Warriors sent Byron Davis and potential outside Marco Belinelli, the Pistons sent the leading players, Chauncey Billups and Tyshaun Prince, the leader of the Pistons Five Tigers, and the Supersonics sent Jeff Green and Szebiak, as well as part of the cash and a second-round draft pick in the 2008 draft.

According to the previous discussion, the Warriors received Chauncey Billups and the Supersonics' second round picks, the Pistons accepted Byron Davis, Jeff Green and Szebiak, while the Supersonics received Belinelli, Prince and some cash.

But just after the news appeared, the fans found that no transaction had occurred.

The transaction happened suddenly and ended quickly. Almost just now, a senior reporter got information about the transaction, and then the transaction ended. The general managers of the three teams all came forward to scold Rosen for saying nonsense, and they had no plans to trade at all.

However, after the reporters' exploration, the inside story of the transaction was finally dug up. In fact, the transaction really happened and almost took shape. The reason why the transaction failed was that the Supersonics shamelessly changed the price code at the last moment. He changed the transaction content and asked to bring Deronte West with him to trade.

None of the three teams wanted Deront West, the Supersonics were determined to clear him out, while the Pistons and the Warriors did not accept him, so the deal went to a standstill.

Who is Deronte West? How could it actually hinder the suspension of the three-party transaction?

In fact, this guy is a basketball Wizard. In high school, he attended the Eleanor Roosevelt School in Greenbelt, Maryland. It was under his leadership that Eleanor Roosevelt's basketball team, the Raiders, entered the All-State Championship for the first time and finally entered the Maryland Championship in one go. Although the Raiders finally lost 58:70 in that game, West scored 22 points and 8 rebounds by himself, and the opponent had no power to fight back.

And that year, he was finally elected the Washington Post Metropolitan Area Player of the Year with averaging 20.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 3.1 steals that year. In his last season of high school, he scored all of his points in double digits except for one game, and then he entered St. Joseph University.

West played for 3 seasons at St. Joseph University, playing 89 games, averaging 25.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3 assists. In his junior year, he was selected as the first team of the All-American team named by the Basketball Times, won the AP honor list of the Best Player in the United States, and was selected as the first team of the best team in the region, helping the team to achieve a record of 30 wins and 2 losses. Among them, he won 27 consecutive victories in the regular season. The team ranked first in the national rankings and became the number one seed in the NCAA rematch for the first time in history.

His college career is perfect and his sharpness is revealed. This guy is a flexible player. He is a double-athlete guard with both point guard and shooting guard. This characteristic allows him to control the ball and organize tactics and run without the ball. At the same time, he also has the ability of three-pointers and extraordinary breakthroughs on the outside, and what he is best at is mid-range jump shots at critical moments, which almost never fails. His college years have repeatedly made his opponents shy.

Not only is he excellent in his skills, West also has great physical fitness. He is a mixed-race man with African and Indian bloodlines. He is fast, has good bounces and has strong impact. No matter where he looks, he should enter the small green house in the lottery zone during the draft.

But in fact, when West participated in the draft in 2004, he fell to the 24th pick before being selected by the Celtics. And after using him for a while, the Celtics frozen him and put him on the bench. Later, when they traded Ray Allen, they threw him to the Supersonics.

Originally, the Supersonics thought they had picked up a treasure, but after they got it, they found that this guy they had originally regarded as steel was just a piece of shit. The reason for all this was his strange character.

West is very withdrawn in life. Once there is a disagreement between his teammates, he will directly punch each other. Moreover, scandals of holding guns, hiding drugs, and fighting are repeatedly exposed outside the court. Supersonics are a team in reconstruction. Of course, such players will not be allowed to exist, but if he buys out, the team will not be able to pay so much money.

So they set their minds on this transaction. The Supersonics were not interested in who they got. They just wanted to send West out. However, both the Warriors and the Pistons, the uniform team were so smart. How could they not know West's infamous? How could they help the unlucky Supersonics wipe their butts?

For a moment, the deal was buzzing throughout the league, but as the core of the Warriors, the team decided to trade Davis' key figure, but Chamberlain did not pay attention to him because something more serious happened around him.

The morning after the game against the Mavericks, Chamberlain woke up and found Doug Sadmons sitting in the living room, wearing a silver suit, extremely formal.

Seeing this scene, Chamberlain was stunned. He wiped his eyes and laughed: "Hey, brother, are you not awake? Or are you sleepwalking? What are you doing? Are you going to a wedding or a funeral today?"

In the past, if Chamberlain was joking, Sardmons would have participated, but today he didn't. He looked at Chamberlain calmly and laughed. He sighed until the latter noticed something was wrong and shut up and said, "Z, I'm going to Iraq."

Chamberlain was stunned by this stupid sentence. He pointed to the direction of the Middle East and asked in shock: "You said Iraq, you said you were going to Iraq?"

Sardmons smiled and nodded, "Yes, Iraq, I'm going to Iraq. In fact, not only I'm going to go, but everyone in our N.G..O organization is going to Iraq. Anti-war operations should not just be in the demonstrations. Where do we go to help those children who are suffering from the pain of war."

Chamberlain couldn't react for a moment, and he grabbed Sardmons' shoulder and shouted, "What does that have to do with you? No, sorry, I don't mean what you imagined... Damn, brother, listen to me, Iraq is not fun, there are terrorists everywhere... shit, listen to me, brother, if you want to help Iraqis, we can donate to them..."

Sardmons kept smiling calmly, his eyes clear and calm, and he looked at Chamberlain with a smile.

An unprecedented sense of powerlessness suddenly floated on Chamberlain's whole body. He knew Sardmons too well. When the latter showed this expression, he said that his decision could not be changed. Just a year after the car accident, Sardmons risked his leg breaking, and that was his expression at that time.
