68. The Queen arrives

After Chamberlain came off the court, the Warriors collapsed.

Old Nelson knew this well, and this was one of the reasons why Chamberlain did not directly replace him after five fouls. Without Chamberlain, Davis, and Biderlings, the Warriors were in chaos on both sides of the offense and defense.

After six fouls, Chamberlain walked off the court with heavy steps and unwillingness. Behind him, he played 13 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks in 30 minutes. The main players such as Ellis, Jackson, Pitrus and Harrington were also involved in the game.

Since having Chamberlain, Old Nelson's mentality has changed suddenly. He is not in a hurry and has a very indifferent view of the outcome. He is already one of the thousands of coaches in the league, and so far, the 1,200 wins are ranked second among all coaches, second only to Wilkens' 1,332 wins. He led the team to win gold medals in the 1994 Olympics, but now the only difference is the championship.

After getting Chamberlain, Old Nelson believed in one thing: the championship ring had been placed in front of him. Now all I lacked is time, and the time to let him wear this ring.

Chamberlain left the court, and the Warriors were not the Cavaliers opponent who was determined to win the championship, so old Nelson chose to let the main players rest and train with substitutes. Of course, he had another purpose, which was to let the substitutes perform well and then use it to trade with Bidlins to get good chips.

Since the Warriors chose to surrender, the Cavaliers did not continue to massacre. James left the field first, and then successively, other main players also left the field. The substitutes of the two teams began to fire and the viewing ability did not decrease at all. Of course, the substitutes were not as capable as the main players, but their attitude was better than the main players. So a tit-for-tat attack frenzy began.

At the end of the game, the Warriors finally lost to the visiting Cavaliers 95:106. James scored 32 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals with 11 of 20 shots, becoming the well-deserved MVP in the game.

At the post-match press conference, Nelson took Jackson to attend. At the press conference, James praised Chamberlain very much and was not stingy with his praise: "He is so outstanding, he is only 18 years old. When someone told me that the sky was his limit, I didn't believe it, but now I believe it. Z is the kind of player that everyone wants to be his teammates. It will be easier to play with him, and he is still growing. In another two or five years, I can't imagine what kind of guy he will become."

Now the entire league recognizes Chamberlain's strength. With the double 30+ against the Bucks and the double double performance in front of the Cavaliers, most people forget the embarrassment when Chamberlain fought against the Celtics. It was just an accident. Most people think so, except for the Boston media.

This season, the Celtics played a singular song. After a few years of shame, the Boston media finally became arrogant again. In the past few years, they had a hard life, from aristocrats to poor people, from aces to a skeleton. This taste was really bad, so now with the opportunity, they began to vent the pain they suffered in the past few seasons, which made them offend many people.

Everyone was waiting for Chamberlain to grow, including the Warriors, so after the game against the Cavaliers, Old Nelson said that he found a trainer for Chamberlain, Chamberlain and everyone in the team were not surprised.

After washing, Li Qun called Chamberlain and invited him to have a midnight snack.

Sitting down at a Chinese restaurant, Li Qun comforted Chamberlain first, who laughed indifferently: "This is nothing, it's common for victory or defeat, it doesn't matter, it doesn't matter!" Chamberlain said gritting his teeth, saying that he didn't care, but the unwillingness and hatred in his tone were beyond words.

Li Qun laughed silently. She shook her white wrist and moved the milk tea in the cup. Her head was lowered, and two soft black hairs swung slightly along her temples, as if the willow branches that had just sprouted out in March were blowing with the spring breeze.

Chamberlain was watching with relish, and Li Qun suddenly lowered his head and said, "I'm going back to China."

"When will you come back?" Chamberlain asked subconsciously, then was shocked and shouted: "You won't never come to the United States again, right? How could this happen? Don't your editor want the Warriors' game information? Who can get first-hand news besides you? Are you not doing well here? Is the news reported not explosive enough? It doesn't matter, I'll tell you a very explosive news, Beardings is leaving, in fact, he is going to Philadelphia. The Sixers are interested in him, and they will give the organizational guard Louis Williams and a center..."

Hearing Chamberlain chattering and began to burst out the Warriors' secrets, Li Qun raised his head and looked at him with a smile.

Chamberlain said for a while and noticed Li Qun's crystal clear gaze. He felt a little embarrassed. He touched his nose and said, "You will come back again, right? You just go back to China to get something, and then come back, right?"

Li Qun's pretty face showed a wry smile and said, "No, Z, I'm transferring this time. Because of my outstanding performance in California and Texas, to be precise, my section was well received because of the Warriors' support for me, so I was promoted and became an editor of the NBA module. I don't need to do interviews anymore. I just need to write articles with information, but I need to go back to Beijing to work."

Chamberlain looked straight at Li Qun and asked, "Are you kidding me?"

Li Qun lowered his head and said nothing, stirring the milk tea in the cup with a porcelain spoon. Chamberlain really didn't know what to say. It turned out that he was sending Li Qun back to China. After a while of silence, he could only smile bitterly: "Congratulations, Li Qun, congratulations on your promotion."

"After I was promoted, I may rarely come to the United States." Li Qun lowered his head and said softly.

Chamberlain grinned and said, "It's okay, what's the saying about an ancient poem? My grandfather often reads it, and it seems to say, 'This place is a farewell, and the world is like a neighbor', right?"

Li Qun raised his head, stared at Chamberlain with clear eyes, and asked, "Is there anything else?"

Chamberlain stood up and stretched out his hand and said sincerely: "I wish you a step-by-step progress in your career development. I hope that after you return to China, no matter what difficulties you encounter in work or life, you will not be discouraged. In Auckland, you have a friend who can share the joys and sorrows with you."

"That's all?" Li Qun did not extend his hand to shake hands with Chamberlain. She sat quietly in her seat and looked up at Chamberlain.

Chamberlain nodded silently, Li Qun smiled and said, "What you said just now is wrong. It should be 'This place is a farewell, and the lonely hut is a journey of thousands of miles'. It comes from "Sending Friends" by Li Bai, the great poet of China Nationality. I am very happy. Z, you treat me as a friend."

Hearing Li Qun say this, some dissatisfaction in Chamberlain's heart suddenly burst out. He slapped the table hard and shouted: "What "Send Friends" and "Send Family"? To be honest, Li Qun, you know I definitely don't want you to return to China now. I hope you stay in Oakland, or California, as long as it is the United States, anywhere! But can I say that? You have been promoted and you have been waiting for this opportunity for a long time, have you?"

The table was rippling like the wind blowing on the sea, two cups of milk tea jumped up, some milk tea spilled out, and Li Qun's pink skirt was stained with a lot of milk stains, but she didn't pay attention to it. As soon as Chamberlain finished speaking, she immediately said, "Okay, then I'll stay in California and won't go back to do that boring editor!"

Chamberlain did not expect Li Qun to say this. He looked at the delicate-looking girl in front of him in shock. The latter looked at him generously and smiled.

"You really won't go back to be the deputy editor?" Chamberlain asked weakly, "This should be a good opportunity, right?"

Li Qun brushed his clothes indifferently, shook off the milk tea on it, and then said indifferently: "What's the best thing about being an editor? It's so boring, so boring, writing all day long. I'm very happy as a reporter here. As long as I'm happy to do it, that's fine, right?"

"Yes, yes! You're right!" Chamberlain nodded quickly. He felt that saying this was a bit unfair to Li Qun. Who wouldn't want to be promoted? But he really didn't want Li Qun to leave. Although he didn't spend a long time together, he fell in love with this girl who always had an elegant oriental style.

However, Li Qun boarded the plane the next day. Chamberlain personally sent her on the plane. Li Qun wanted to go back to the Beijing Division headquarters to explain the reason for not being able to perform his duties. She couldn't call the leader and say that I didn't want to be promoted and just turned it over because she was able to get promoted, which was also the leader's kindness. It was the opportunity her leader had won her through hardships. You should know that she didn't have long been working at the Beijing Branch of the Asia-Pacific region of Sports Weekly, and it only took half a year.

After seeing off Li Qun, Chamberlain called Ellis, whose rental villa was not far from the airport, and the two went to the team together.

When he pushed open the door of the training hall and walked in, Chamberlain felt something was wrong. Most people were staring at him straight, whether it was Jackson, Barnes, or the trainers, even if a few people were not staring at him directly, they were still secretly watching him from time to time.

"What's wrong?" Chamberlain asked subconsciously. He came to the training hall a little late today because he was going to take Li Qun on the plane. He was usually the first to come to the training hall.

As he said that, Chamberlain suddenly felt a rose-flavored smell entering his nose. The smell was a little light, but it was definitely a rose-flavored smell. He turned his head along the fragrance and immediately understood why those people were looking at him. In fact, Jackson and others were not looking at him, but looking at the direction of the door. Just behind the door, a hot woman stood proudly.

The woman is about 20 years old, with a very charming face and a unique three-dimensional feeling of Greeks. Her eyes are slender and slightly curved, her nose is small, her lips are cherry red, her skin is as white as jade, her golden hair is neatly tied into a ponytail, standing proudly behind her head, her soft hair naturally sags, and she has a stubborn smell.

However, what attracted the most to the woman was not her appearance, but her perfect figure, despite her extremely beautiful appearance. She wore a red Nike sportswear, and the loose clothes could not hide her charming body. The two peaks on her chest were erected angrily, pushing the sportswear into an astonishing curve.

The body lines slid downwards, shrinking the more they went down, and finally became a slender waist that was unbearable to hold. Further downwards, the streamlined arc suddenly became exaggerated. Even though the sweatpants were wide, the two buttocks could still show that amazing plumpness under their constraints.

What moved Chamberlain the most was the woman's two beautiful legs. Her legs were extremely slender and well-proportioned, which made her look like a noble white swan.
