Chapter 79 Tracking

Ms. Mirison Barnold, Minister of Magic, was stronger than he thought.

When Matthew Wakefield grasped the Daily Prophet in his hand, he looked at the contents of the newspaper and couldn't help but think.

There are still no reports related to the attack in the newspapers in my hand.

The front page headlines are news that Montrose Magpies's goalkeeper Aidan Linzi is about to get married; while the second version is the Ministry of Magic's decision to temporarily lift Hogsmeade's curfew...all trivial matters.

Matthew randomly browsed the Prophet Daily, and finally, around a corner, he saw an "interesting" news-

"Where is his legacy hidden in the greatest magician in British history?"

For the British magic world, Merlin's legacy has always been a problem that has puzzled them for hundreds of years... The wizard, who finally lived to be as long as 1,200 years old, did not die until the leprechaun rebellion in the eighteenth century. There is no doubt that when he suddenly left this world, he must have left an extremely huge legacy. But no one has ever found his legacy in the past two hundred years.

The mainstream view is that when Merlin died, his legacy was also taken away by the goblins; some people also hold different views.

A small piece of news, but the small news that appears at the corner is mostly just a sensible person.

Matthew just glanced and hurriedly left his gaze.

After searching through the entire "Prophet Daily", I still found no valuable content.

He finally chose to give up, crumpled the newspaper into a ball, and threw it into the trash can.

...

Almost two weeks have passed since the disappearance of Justin Finlieri, a first-year Hufflepuff.

But the news of his disappearance still did not spread in Hogwarts, at least Matthew had never heard anyone discuss this.

Including those Hufflepuff students.

There is no doubt that the disappearance was forcibly suppressed by Hogwarts' management.

According to Neville, it was Professor Rozier and Professor Sprout who deceived them. Justin Finlieri was bitten by a snow spider while being confined in the forbidden forest. He was temporarily sent to the St. Mungo Magic Hospital for treatment.

Thanks to Justin being a Hufflepuff student, the naive little badgers didn't have too much doubt about these words.

At the same time, thanks to Justin's parents being both ordinary Muggles, Hogwarts didn't have to pay any price to hide this news.

"Matthew!" As Matthew walked out of the auditorium, he saw Neville Longbottom wave at the end of the corridor; he whispered.

Matthew looked around and then hurriedly walked towards Neville.

Neville also turned around and left, and the two of them came to the door of the magic history classroom with a "very tacit understanding".

Then, while there were no people around, they tiptoed into the dark classroom.

Neville turned around and closed the door carefully.

...

Miss Hermione Granger, who is already waiting for them in the magic history classroom.

Seeing Matthew and Neville breaking in, she stood up with some excitement.

"How is it?" Hermione looked at Matthew with a eager look: "Are there any doubts about Professor Troca?"

Matthew paused. He felt that he would be better off preparing for his language?

"You talk first." Matthew looked back at Hermione: "What happened to Professor Rozier?"

Neville spoke first: "No accident seems to have happened... She goes to the auditorium for dinner every morning, noon and evening; of course there is also class time... In other spare moments, Professor Rozier almost always stays in her office, and her daily life is very regular..."

"How is that..." Matthew nodded as soon as he nodded, he was interrupted by Hermione beside him in a somewhat angry tone!

"It's not like this at all!" Hermione said seriously.

"Then tell me..." Navi shut his mouth tactfully.

"Professor Rozier is really a big suspicion." Hermione said seriously: "I should have observed it more carefully than Neville. Recently, Professor Rozier often goes to the Potion Classroom to take a look... It seems that there is something there, which has been tempting her. Don't forget that around Halloween, the location where Adams and Carlo were attacked was right there!"

"Are you next to the Potion Classroom?" Matthew murmured.

"What about you, Matthew?" Hermione asked anxiously, looking at Matthew's blast: "You are responsible for following Professor Troca. What are you getting along the way?"

"Like Professor Rozier, Professor Troca has been staying in his office at other times except for meals and class hours..." Matthew explained calmly: "At least, no flaw has been revealed yet."

"Okay." Hermione nodded in disappointment.

Obviously, she was not satisfied with her current discovery.

The communication between the three people lasted for a short while.

Until the end, they left the classroom one after another.

...

When Matthew Wakefield returns to Slytherin Common Lounge.

"Matthew!" A figure who looked a little stupid quickly walked over while there were not many people around him.

"Crab, how about it?" Matthew asked in a low voice: "What's the situation with Professor Troca?"

"Professor Troca has often pretended to be fine and walked around the school..." The fat Vincent Crab, quickly replied: "What are you looking for in the school!"

"Okay, thank you for your hard work." Matthew nodded: "Where is Gower now?"

"He should be still following the teacher in the office of the Black Magic Defense Class..." Crab replied honestly.

There is no doubt that Matthew himself was not willing to follow Hogwarts teachers, let alone take great risks to do so.

Therefore, he handed over this "dangerous" task to two "friends"-

Crabbe and Goll.

He temporarily "borrowed" the two of them from Draco Malfoy.

With their help, he took turns "surveillance" Professor Troca's office.
