Chapter 86 Warning
Professor Horas Slughorn turned and left.
Matthew walked into Slytherin's communal lounge alone, and the stone door behind him quickly closed it on his own.
There are so many people in the public lounge for the first time.
The soft armchairs by the fireplace were filled with students from all grades, and many people stood aside, and they were all discussing what had happened in the past few days...
And for some couples, today is perhaps the worst Valentine's Day they have ever had.
Matthew first found the only senior he was familiar with, Gemma Farley, in the crowd.
After pulling her to a remote corner, Matthew informed her of Slughorn's previous words.
"Do you need a password to leave the public lounge?" Miss Farley was almost shocked: "Okay, thank you, Matthew, I will tell other seniors about this... You also remember to go and don't spread the password!"
"Of course." Matthew nodded.
Then, he returned to his dormitory.
Malfoy, Crab, Gole and Nott are all here, and they all look listless.
It is a bit "cruel" for these first-year naughty students who cannot leave the public lounge for two and a half days.
"Let's play wizard chess!" Nott suggested.
This proposal was quickly approved by the other three.
"Matthew, are you here?" Malfoy shouted.
"No, you guys play!" Matthew shook his head and sat at his desk.
...
The other four boys were yelling while happily playing wizard chess.
Draco Malfoy is still complaining about why his chess pieces are not as good as before.
The whole dormitory was soon filled with a happy atmosphere.
But Matthew lay at the desk, lowered his head, thinking about something.
Hermione and Neville suddenly disappeared...
This is completely unexpected.
What happened after lunch—
Did they really investigate the truth?
Or... they were just involved in an accident?
Or...they were involved in the truth because of an accident?
Matthew was suddenly a little upset. The whole storm was about to be announced to end, so why did such an unexpected situation suddenly occur?
Ronald Weasley was not dead... Adams and Carlo were not dead... Even Justin Finlieri would not die...
But it may be a little different when it’s Hermione and Neville’s turn!
If Matthew is thinking nothing has happened now...
Then tomorrow morning, maybe Hermione and Neville will appear in front of them alive... Perhaps, they will be greeted with two corpses!
No, Neville might still be alive; but Hermione, if she is really involved in the truth, she will definitely die.
Matthew Wakefield closed his eyes.
In any case, he could not watch the two children and go to death.
He couldn't make up his mind.
What's more, they really regard themselves as "friends".
So he made up his mind!
Suddenly, a breeze came out somewhere...
Then, Matthew's drawer was influenced by a mysterious force and opened it on its own!
...
"What's going on? Why do I feel the wind in the room?" Malfoy shouted in a fuss.
"It's your illusion, Draco." Nott looked at him in confusion: "How can there be wind in the room? Keep playing chess, my like eating your horse!"
"Okay!" Malfoy also felt that it was his illusion and didn't care much about this matter.
Matthew looked at the opened drawer and knew very well who did it.
He quietly took out the ancient book in the drawer and slowly opened it.
On the page I opened, a line of green words appeared on the face:
"Don't go!"
Matthew blinked, but he didn't expect that the book would "care" about him.
Normally, it shouldn't be such a wise book that tempts yourself to join the adventure, and you won't be able to kill yourself...
After taking out a quill from the pen holder and dipped it ink, Matthew calmly wrote:
"I have to go!"
Waited for a moment—
"You don't know what you're going to face!"
On the pages, green handwriting appeared again, and the handwriting was very sloppy, as if reflecting the mood of the book... It was very anxious about this matter.
而马修则淡定的写道:
"Of course I know."
Book looks a little angry:
"Then why do you still have to make such a dangerous choice?" A series of handwriting appeared on the pages. Because the font was very large, it could hardly hold a page of paper: "She is very strong, very strong... and may even be stronger than your principal!"
Matthew suddenly smiled:
“那你知道她是谁么?”
The book seems to have fallen into a brief silence:
"have no idea!"
Matthew was stained with ink again:
"But I know, if it weren't for sure, who would take risks with his life?"
The book fell into silence again, and then the handwriting on it showed:
"I don't understand, where your confidence comes from?"
Matthew slowly wrote:
"If you can really sense what's happening around you, then I think you'll know it right away!"
After a pause, he continued to write:
"For a truly powerful wizard, his power is not his magic, but his wisdom!"
The handwriting of the book looks a bit sarcastic:
"Do you think you are a powerful wizard?"
Matthew smiled again:
"Of course not!"
He was about to close the book and put it in a drawer.
However, at this moment, all the handwriting in front disappeared.
Instead, there are lines of characters with neat handwriting and careful look:
"Bring me!"
Matthew seemed to hesitate for a moment, and he wrote:
"No need for this!"
He added:
"Remember not to hurt my roommate."
Then, he carefully closed the book and put it into the drawer.
...
Almost an hour later, the house elf delivered the food to various dormitories.
This is what Professor Slughorn said about dinner.
The students who were originally crowded in the communal lounge returned to their dormitories to have dinner.
Malfoy and Norte turned into gnawing cold quails while playing wizard chess, making them so happy.
Matthew quietly came to the public lounge, which was obviously much deserted.
He approached the stone gate quietly, and while no one was paying attention, he whispered the command:
"Merlin!"
The stone door was slowly opened.
Matthew quickly got out and breathed the fresh air outside the stone gate.
