Chapter 2 The first guest(1/2)

Born Town, 530 East Block.

This is a second-floor shop located in the southwest of East Street Avenue, Born Town. It is a bit remote and deserted at the entrance.

The store is a bit spacious, with the entrance facing the counter. The sofa and decorations are arranged on the right. There is only a product display cabinet on the left. There are very few products placed inside, most of which are gray-white wrist guards.

Galvin sat behind the counter wearing the apprentice robe and holding a book, studying calmly.

Although he felt a depression in his heart that his talent was not recognized, he did not have the urgency to prove himself, but instead felt calm and down-to-earth.

Whether it was the years as a programmer or the days when Byron ran into a wall, it taught him the importance of enduring loneliness and waiting patiently.

Of course, there is another more important point among them, that is, he has confidence in himself.

From the beginning in the capital of Byron, Maiki, to the present town of Born, Galvin has walked many roads and visited the Mage Towers.

Along the way, apart from hitting walls again and again, his biggest gain was to see the world clearly, or the underlying situation of this country.

The casters' pursuit of magic is too extraordinary.

"This is a kingdom that regards the mage who does not engage in production and commerce as a nobleman. Here, a man's race does not determine his status or advantage, nor does his family and wealth, and magic is everything."

This sentence was heard by Galvin from the mouth of an outside adventurer.

Also based on this atmosphere where the whole nation advocates magic, this country has always been short of magical items, but these magical items are either extremely expensive to make or have harsh conditions for use.

This is a place that does not consider the cost-effectiveness of magical items... Galvin has sighed more than once.

For Byron's people, magic should be mysterious and noble.

"... Since I cannot prove the value of the rune from top to bottom, I will let the Byron masters realize its value from bottom to top!"

To make traditional spellcasters face the power of runes, Galvin thought for a long time and finally determined a bottom-up path.

He wanted to popularize rune objects made with "rune technology". When the vast majority of Byron realized the value of runes, any voice against negation would be overwhelmed by the vast ocean of the people.

For this reason, he had already figured out how to achieve it.

...

As if feeling sore, Galvin raised his head and twisted his neck, his eyes fell on the commodity counter next to him, and a trace of curved faced the corner of his mouth.

There, more than a dozen off-white wrist guards were lying quietly.

This is exactly what he sells.

Rune wrist guards!

The overall appearance is grayish-white, with complex patterns engraved on the wrist guards, and a slightly green stone is inlaid in the center of the wrist guards.

This wrist guard looks simple, but actually consists of two important parts.

Wristguards and runestones.

The metal wristband itself is an alchemy product with many magic loops engraved on it, similar to the functions of a compiler and host, and can be made in many alchemy workshops in Byron.

The green rune stone embedded on it is Galvin's work.

The rune stone is not big, but in this rune stone the size of a bottle cap, there are programs or sequences for rune writing hidden.

When the user injects energy, the rune sequence of the rune stone is activated, and the compilation and conversion of the wrist guard will inspire spell phenomena.

However, there is only one application in the rune stones of these wrist guards in the store.

After sitting for a whole morning, Galvin stood up and moved his body. It seemed that he had given up on the customer's behavior.

In fact, the location of his store is indeed a bit bad.

In Born Town, the south block is the famous alchemy neighborhood, with alchemy workshops located here, while the north block is a residential area, and the east street Avenue is a commercial area.

His shop is located in the southwest corner of East Street Avenue. Due to the pollution problems caused by the alchemy industry, few people in the south are willing to come and visit this part of the south.

Just as Galvin was about to pack up for lunch, a young man walked into the door.

The simple coarse cloth clothes are a little tall, almost 1.9 meters tall, with a deep eye socket on the face and a slightly amplified nose bridge, which all show that he is a typical Byron.

He looked like he was not very old last year, at the age of seventeen or eighteen, with a long sword around his waist and a look at the store with a hint of confusion on his face.

"Hello, are enchanting equipment sold here?" he asked with some uncertainty.

"Enchant equipment?"

Galvin was stunned, shook his head and said, "No."

A trace of disappointment flashed across the young man's face and said a little apologetically: "Sorry, I'm disturbing. I saw the name of the store outside with a star ring mark, thinking..."

As he said that, he bowed slightly and was about to walk outside.

The Star Ring Mark is a mark of the Byron Mage Society, symbolizing the Star Ring Tower of the Legendary Mage. Generally, the shops with this kind of mark sell some magic items.

After finally coming in, Galvin really didn't want him to leave like that.

He couldn't help but speak, "Wait."

The young man paused, stopped and turned his head, with a somewhat confused expression.

Galvin sorted out the following expression and said slowly: "Although we don't have enchantment equipment here, we sell a magic item similar to enchantment equipment."

"Magic items..." The young man's expression was a little hesitant.

Galvin knew that it seemed to know what he wanted to say.

He continued: "I know what you are worried about, don't worry, the price will not exceed the enchanted equipment."

The young man was speechless.

Galvin also took a wrist guard from the shelves and placed it in front of him.

"This rune wristband has a strange 'magic' inscribed in it. Well, let's call it magic for now. It's not worse than ordinary enchanting equipment," Galvin explained while buckled the wristband in his hand and demonstrating.

I saw him injecting a magic power into his wrist guard, and the green rune stone on it glowed slightly.

A bird covered in red feathers appeared above the wrist guard. It was about the size of a palm, with its wings spreading, and floating above the wrist guard like a ball of red hair.

"Elf Name: Sparkle

Quality: Normal

Type attributes: bird, fire

Rarity: 0

Capture rate: 50%

Advanced success rate: 40%

Skill: Breaking Fireball

Place of haunting: everywhere

Introduction: The ordinary bird rune spirit, fire attribute."

Galvin pointed casually, and the small and cute spark bird flapped its wings and flew towards the direction of its finger.

"Fireball," Galvin said, pointing outward.

In the surprised gaze of the young man, the spark bird with a strange appearance bulged and its stomach suddenly began to form in the air, and a fireball was gradually forming at its beak.

The fireball flew out and fell on the ground outside and immediately exploded a small pit.

After calling the Spark Bird over, Galvin said: "This kind of fireball can continue to be released as long as the wrist guards have energy. Generally, five to six shots are almost over."

When the spark bird flew to the young man, a hint of surprise appeared in his eyes.

"It's not an entity?" asked the young man.

He saw the body of the spark bird flying in the air showing an illusory state of light and shadow.

Galvin nodded: "No, it is a rune elves. Low-level rune elves generally have no entity, but they can release skills."

In fact, this spark croaker is just a virtual image generated by the rune wrist guards that activate two level 0 magic tricks, light and sound magic, and then combines a "magic mark" to combine it with a virtual image.

And the fireball technique it releases is indeed fireball technique.

But it was not released, and the rune wristband activates the fireball technique produced by the magic mark in the virtual image through the rune sequence written by Galvin.

"How is it? Interested?" asked Galvin.

"This little thing...well, it's really amazing."

The young man paused for a moment, and looked at the sparkling bird with a hint of surprise in his eyes, but he still shook his head.

"But I don't need any attack help," he said honestly.

Galvin touched his chin: "Doesn't you need any attack help?... I have other models here, in addition to the spark croaker and electric shock croaker, there are also unknown birds that can detect and release the seed baby of healing..."

"Wait, therapy?" The young man's face was a little joyful, and he interrupted.

"Well, I'm interested in the first ring therapy?"

Galvin was not annoyed, and looked at him with a smile. He knew that the young man was moved.

The young man then asked, "Can we release it five to six times?"

"Well, depending on the situation, if it is full of energy, there is no problem five times," Galvin replied.
To be continued...
