Chapter three hundred and ninetieth moral commanding heights

Yan Xuecan quickly walked to the double-storey loft on the lake island of Dahua headquarters.

The living water from the Huangpu River spreads out more than 200 acres here, and is backed by a green hill dozens of meters high, like an urban landscape painting.

The antique arch bridge starts from one side of the office area and spans two lake islands, one large and one small. The larger one is a place for Dahua employees to relax and entertain, and the smaller one is mostly used to entertain guests and is also a place for high-level Dahua employees to hold meetings.

Yesterday, Yan Xuecan heard that the chairman and COSCO Shipping had a very bad negotiation. At that time, he didn't take it seriously and thought that it was just some conditions that could not be agreed upon. For hundreds of millions of dollars of projects, it would be nothing great to talk for a few more days.

However, a document this morning made Yan Xuecan unable to sit still.

Dahua Industrial submitted official documents on labor cooperation to COSCO Shipping. Surprisingly, COSCO Shipping returned to the official letter and officially rejected Dahua Industrial's request.

Based on Yan Xuecan's understanding of state-owned enterprises, this means that COSCO Shipping has completely closed the door to labor cooperation with Dahua Industrial.

The relationship between COSCO Shipping and Dahua Industrial is so good that they reject Dahua Industrial. You can imagine the attitude of other shipyards.

Looking at the country, only a few large shipyards in China have experience in building freighters of more than 10,000 tons. The small shipyard owners who have worked with Dahua Transportation Company have made a ship worth 3,000 ton, and I’m afraid I haven’t heard of what a liquefied natural gas ship is.

As the pioneer of LNG ship, Yan Xuecan felt very complicated when he saw the official letter.

It is faintly that he has such a hope: he is the only executive in the Dahua Department who has risen from Dahua Shipping Industry, and can be said to be the executive who is most familiar with ships. If Dahua Shipping Industry expands into a lng shipyard with hundreds of millions of dollars, his value and status will naturally become more and more prominent.

Therefore, I heard that I was going to have a meeting on the island in the middle of the lake, Yan Xuecan ran away.

As Yan Xuecan crawled into the second-floor loft hidden by green trees, he felt it was still early, and with a bang, he pushed open the door downstairs.

A cool breeze came through the hall.

In the room, two rows of people looked at him strangely.

Yan Xuecan narrowed his eyes and found that Su Cheng, Huo Chang, Li Huanxiang and Qin Shiwei from Dahua Laboratory, Zhong Zhigen and Zhang Chao from the Strategic Business Department, and Gu Haijian from the Ocean Institute were inside. He was shocked.

"What's wrong?" Zhong Zhigen's position within Dahua was transcendent. As soon as he spoke, he relieved Yan Xuecan's nervousness.

"I received a notice from the meeting, but I didn't expect it to be late." Yan Xuecan didn't dare to make jokes when facing Su Cheng.

"The formal meeting is upstairs, we're early." Qin Shiwei had a good impression of Yan Xuecan and quietly helped him to help him relieve the situation.

"Sit down." Su Cheng waved and said, "There are still 30 minutes left. We are discussing the issue of Dahua Shipping Industry. You are familiar with the situation. Listen first."

After Huo Chang finished speaking, Su Cheng pretended to be a black face and said, "Don't be so reckless next time. Especially the conference hall on the island in the middle of the lake is rigorous and scattered. I think. I will take some security measures here in the future."

Yan Xuecan was covered in dust and did not dare to speak nonsense. In the company, Huo Chang was old and had a high status. He positioned himself as a pure assistant officer. He usually did not directly participate in the company's business decisions, but he was very careful about internal discipline and other matters. The employees were born fear when they saw him.

At the warning of Siucheng, the meeting started again.

After listening for a while, Yan Xuecan knew that he was discussing how to purchase technology from South Korea. LNG ship is ultimately a cargo ship. The better thing about it than a warship is that it can be copied in large quantities using previous design drawings. It will not be like a warship, and many personalized needs must be considered... Similarly, although the technology of shipbuilding is difficult, it is not mysterious.

Su Cheng also knew something, so he dared to make a decision to make an LNG boat.

Historically, France's Atlantic Shipyards came to China around 1995 to promote LNG ships, hoping to sell the entire set of technology to the country. There was a heated discussion within the China Shipbuilding Corporation. At that time, China, which had not used natural gas on a large scale, had a difficult choice to choose whether it was necessary to build an LNG ship. It was better to buy than to buy or rent than to buy, and it was once popular, but it missed the excellent opportunity in the 1990s.

Facts have proved that self-built LNG ships not only save money, but also can drive a whole industrial chain. From the perspective of hindsight, they are at least much more reliable than self-developed sedans.

From the worst perspective, a country without LNG ships will not be guaranteed at all. If a foreign country wants to blockade, just urge the owner of each LNG ship to not rent ships to China, and the domestic gas market will be in chaos. The most terrible thing is that this is not really happening, but threats from the other party will happen...

Tankers and LNG ships are nuclear and hydrogen bombs in the energy field. Having them may not bring much benefits, but without them, you may suffer huge losses and unfair treatment.

Countries that suffered nuclear blackmail during the Cold War and China that suffered nuclear blackmail before the Cold War have all experienced this feeling.

No matter how strong the conservatives inside the China Shipbuilding are, they cannot go against the trend. Especially when the value of natural gas is revealed, it becomes a natural thing for the LNG Ship to board the horse.

Unfortunately, because it was two years late, the three sets of lng ships had formed patent barriers. South Korea, which started six years ahead of schedule, got into the circle, and China was dragged farther and farther away. It was not until more than 10 years later that it once again returned to its strategic position in 1995.

Sucheng is not like the leader of China Shipbuilding. His confidence in natural gas is unquestionable. Therefore, once he decides to make an LNG ship, he must enter professional barriers before the three major systems of LNG ships are formed. According to internationally accepted rules, as long as Dahua Shipbuilding can have some patents that the other party cannot avoid, he can obtain all production authorizations through patent exchange.

At that time, the shipyards will pay these patented shipyards. If I increase or decrease, the competitiveness will be greatly different.

South Korean companies have used this method to get rid of China for at least 15 years. Looking closely, both sides used to stand on the same starting line.

Su Cheng listened carefully to Li Huanxiang's explanation of the technical node that Dahua was about to enter.

It is unrealistic and unnecessary to develop a huge system like a liquefied natural gas ship. Because the relevant patents in many countries only take 10 to 20 years, and a company may expire after a monopoly. Therefore, forming a continuous wave of patents is much more useful than strictly guarding patent dams.

The patent barriers formed by several companies are also safer than the patent barriers of one company and can avoid various rules and regulations of the antitrust law.

This kind of technical discussion is the favorite of the institute. Li Huanxiang talks endlessly and he almost doesn't have to read the notebook in his hand.

Yan Xuecan was anxiously scratching his head and thought to himself: If we don’t have workers, what’s the use of being able to do with the strong skills? Should we hire all Germans?

Dahua Petrochemical has many foreign technical workers. This is determined by the particularity of Daethylene equipment. However, the shipyards use thousands of working hours. It is normal to use 20,000 working hours for an lng boat. If foreign workers are selected, it will be swallowed up to 20% of the profit.

After finally waiting for Li Huanxiang to finish his words, Yan Xuecan said first: "COSCO Shipping has rejected our labor cooperation requirements and has returned a formal official letter of law. Have you seen it?"

Su Cheng looked at Zhong Zhigen and smiled and said, "We saw it. I asked He Han for the official letter."

Yan Xuecan was stunned: "Why?"

"COSCO Shipping is subject to the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. Their appetite is too big, so not only COSCO Shipping, but also the subordinate units of COSCO Shipping and China Shipping Group are almost out of reach. I asked them to issue official letters so that no one would turn the black and white in the future."

Yan Xuecan's eyes were wide open, and the subordinate units of Oceanwide Group and China Shipbuilding Group were no longer available. So where else could there be shipbuilders in China?

When he was thinking about it desperately, Yang Ming knocked on the door and came in. He only heard him whisper: "Dalian Ocean Shipping Group Company also refused."

"Official official letter?"

"Official official letter."

Su Cheng nodded with satisfaction.

Yan Xuecan couldn't understand and asked, "What should we do?"

"What should I do?"

"Worker. Can you train yourself?" Yan Xuecan said as he said, he got to do it himself and said, "If you want to train a qualified worker, if you use teaching methods, you will be considered as a teacher in about 6 months. It is probably okay to cooperate with our old workers to do the hull. But...ah, why not send it to foreign countries for training? I know that Japanese and French shipyards do this kind of business. If you can get a relatively advanced welder certificate for training for 3 to 8 months, it is a bit higher..."

When Su Cheng heard his long-windedness, he waved his hand with a smile and said, "If you don't do labor cooperation, you won't be able to find workers. Without Butcher Zhang, there are only pigs with hair?"

Yan Xuecan is a person who has done his homework. When he heard this, he became anxious and said, "Dr. Su, don't you want to poach people, right? That's not possible, just one or two. We need at least a few hundred workers. If you dig it up with a shovel, the Chinese ship will definitely be annoyed."

"Um?"

When Yan Xuecan saw Su Cheng listening, he quickly said, "The workers in several major shipyards are all state workers. If you really want to go poach people, as long as the China Shipbuilding Company does not leave the files, we will be blind. If the China Shipbuilding Company has an administrative order, how can we deal with it?"

Su Cheng looked at Zhong Zhigen again, smiled, and said, "You said, Lao Zhong has considered it."

“Thinking?”

Zhong Zhigen nodded and smiled, "We have thought of a solution, and the official letter is part of this method."

Yan Xuecan is a smart person and hesitantly asked: "Show the enemy is weak?"

"That's what it means, to be precise, it's standing on the commanding heights of morality." Zhong Zhigen paused for a moment and smiled: "Look at it, China Shipbuilding's reaction will not be faster than that of China PetroChina."
