Chapter 1651 Westbound [2 more]

With a low moan, Chen Guangrui opened her eyes and saw Yin Wenjiao, Fang Xiaoyu and others. She couldn't help but feel like she was in a dream, and murmured: "I actually came back to life!"

The next scene was naturally a reunion scene. Fang Xiaoyu cooperated with the acting, but Chen Guangrui and Yin Wenjiao had endless things to say when they met, and there was not much room for Fang Xiaoyu to interfere.

Half a month later, Fang Xiaoyu and others returned to the imperial capital Chang'an again. Li Shimin had already heard of Chen Guangrui's return to the sun. Although he had already learned from Yuan Tiangang that Fang Xiaoyu was a Tianding scholar, now that he saw that Buddhism had been planning all this decades ago, he sighed in his heart.

Chen Guangrui's resurrection from the dead made Li Shimin amazed. As soon as the golden mouth opened, he appointed Chen Guangrui as the governor of one side and governing the other side, which can be regarded as a blessing in disguise.

Fang Xiaoyu's fate was over. Li Shimin summoned Fang Xiaoyu and said to Fang Xiaoyu with a serious expression: "You must know that I want to send someone to the Buddha of the Great Leiyin Temple in the West to seek the Mahayana sutras to save all sentient beings. I don't know that the master is willing to take on this important task."

Li Shimin naturally wanted to ask Fang Xiaoyu for his opinion. After all, the road to the West is long and the road is full of difficulties and obstacles. If there is no firm belief in obtaining the true scriptures, I am afraid that I will not be able to reach the Western Paradise and cannot obtain the true scriptures.

Of course, Fang Xiaoyu has to choose this choice himself. Not to mention Li Shimin, even Guanyin Bodhisattva, who has transformed into a monk, is staring at Fang Xiaoyu, looking forward to Fang Xiaoyu's answer.

Although Guanyin Bodhisattva knew that Fang Xiaoyu was reincarnated by the Jinchanzi, who focused on the Buddha, and was a Buddhist monk who had done good deeds and accumulated virtues in the ten lifetimes, it was only a big deal, and Guanyin Bodhisattva would never allow any accidents.

After all, Fang Xiaoyu did not awaken Jin Chanzi's memory, and he would not guarantee what choice he would make even Guanyin Bodhisattva.

Even under the gaze of Guanyin Bodhisattva, Fang Xiaoyu seemed very calm. In front of the Buddha, he could not see that Jin Chanzi had been replaced.

With his hands folded, Fang Xiaoyu's eyes were filled with piety and firmness and said to Li Shimin: "The little monk is willing to go to the west to seek the Mahayana sutra for His Majesty."

Li Shimin was immediately overjoyed when he heard this, "Take it serious?"

Fang Xiaoyu nodded and said, "Mencius does not lie, I cannot get the true scriptures for my request, so I have no face to bow to Your Majesty's Heavenly Beauty."

"Hahaha, Master, how do you see Master Xuanzang as a visitor?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva on the side nodded slightly, looked at Fang Xiaoyu with great satisfaction and said, "Namo Amitabha, Your Majesty has a sharp eye. I believe that the person who seeks scriptures will be abandoned by Master Xuanzang, who is the other person who can do it."

"Okay, I want to become brothers with Xuanzang, and I will grant Xuanzang the surname Tang Dynasty and be named Xuanzang of Tang."

Regardless of the surprised look on Guanyin Bodhisattva's face, Fang Xiaoyu showed a little surprise. Then he saw Li Shimin giving Fang Xiaoyu the brocade robes and nine-tin Zen staff he had obtained before.

Fang Xiaoyu was secretly surprised when he bought it. This brocade robe and the Nine-Tin Zen Staff are two treasures. Although they are not innate treasures, after being influenced by Buddhism and immersed with merit, the two treasures are not much worse than innate things.

The Buddhists gave these two treasures to Tang Xuanzang, which shows that they attached great importance to the Eastern Path of Buddhism, and they were afraid that some accidents would occur along the way.

As the saying goes, man's calculation is worse than God's calculation. No matter how many of them, no one can guarantee that there will be no accidents during Journey to the West.

You should know how much effort it took to promote this journey to the west to seek Buddhist scriptures, taking the opportunity to spread Buddhism to the east. Jin Chanzi, who shoulders this important task, is a reincarnated body with an ordinary body without opening the spiritual orifice. If there is an accident that causes Tang Xuanzang to lose his life, then the Buddhist plan for many years will really be overwhelmed.

In fact, if you look closely at Journey to the West, you will find that there are many guardians of the Dharma Lan who are secretly protecting Tang Xuanzang along the way. After all, you are not afraid that Tang Xuanzang will be eaten by lawless demons on Journey to the West.

No one can guarantee whether those demons will really eat Tang Xuanzang when they are in a hot head. If this is true, even if Buddhism dismantles the demon afterwards, it will not be able to change the ending.

This brocade robe and the nine-sin Zen Staff were taken out by Buddhism and placed on the surface to protect Tang Xuanzang's safety. The brocade robe on her body can make Tang Xuanzang not afraid of water and fire, fear of all poisons, or even illnesses. In other words, with the brocade robe on her body, Tang Xuanzang would not have to worry about all kinds of accidents that would kill his life.

After giving Fang Xiaoyu the brocade robe and the nine-tin Zen Staff, Li Shimin said to Fang Xiaoyu: "I will choose an auspicious day and personally send my brother to Chang'an to the west to obtain scriptures."

Fang Xiaoyu said to Li Shimin with a Buddhist ritual: "Thank you, Your Majesty."

After solving the problem of seeking scriptures, Li Shimin became brothers with Fang Xiaoyu and also gave Fang Xiaoyu the name of the Tang Dynasty as his surname. However, Fang Xiaoyu was tied to the Tang Dynasty tightly. If he succeeded in obtaining scriptures in the future, then the merits of Journey to the West would be indispensable to him, the Emperor of Tang.

A few days later, before leaving the city gate of Chang'an, Li Shimin and a group of ministers were present. Fang Xiaoyu held a nine-tin Zen stick and wore a brocade robes. Taking advantage of his handsome face, it was really eye-catching.

The people around looked at Fang Xiaoyu, and many of their daughters even showed strange looks. Many people sighed in their hearts, how could such a man enter Buddhism and become monks?

Li Shimin took a bowl of water wine from the waiter beside him, and Fang Xiaoyu hurriedly took another bowl of water wine from the waiter beside him.

Li Shimin is worthy of being an emperor of a generation. No matter what he thinks, he looks reluctant when facing Fang Xiaoyu. If you want to say something about acting, Fang Xiaoyu is not bad at all, and is also full of affection.

"Your family is here, the mountains are long and the road is far away. A glass of water and wine will be given to you!"

Buddhism quit drinking, but Fang Xiaoyu dared not refuse in the face of the imperial wine given by Li Shimin. Just as he was about to drink it all, Li Shimin bowed his head and twisted a pinch of dust on the ground and sprinkled it into Fang Xiaoyu's wine glass.

Looking at Fang Xiaoyu's face of confusion, Li Shimin said, "How many years will I go to the West this time?"

Fang Xiaoyu pondered slightly and said, "It will be possible to return in just three to five years."

Nodding slightly, Li Shimin sighed: "As time goes by, the mountains are long and the road is far away. I can drink this wine. Remember: I would rather love my hometown for a twist of soil than love a thousand taels of gold in a foreign land!"

Fang Xiaoyu drank it all in one sip, bowed slightly to Li Shimin, bid farewell to Emperor Tang, and left alone.

After leaving Chang'an, Fang Xiaoyu felt that many gazes that fell on him disappeared. Obviously, those powerful people who were paying attention to him had turned their eyes away. However, in the void above his head, several auras appeared and were faintly visible. It was obvious that this was the Dharma Guardian Jialan who arranged by Buddhism and the Heavenly Court to protect his safety all the way.
