Chapter 971 [Regroup Super King]

The most unfortunate team in the free market is the Dallas Mavericks.

They also chased the Trail Blazers Wesley Matthews and the Clippers' DeAndrew Jordan, and signed Deron Williams with a low price of 10 million for two years.

Cuban was very happy. The Mavericks failed to pursue Delong before, but now their annual salary is only one-quarter of that. Delong's ability is definitely more than one-quarter of that, so Cuban understood it as making a profit.

But now Delon is a role player, and his defense is still poor and he cannot lead the team to win.

Cuban's good mood lasted for only three days, and something even more unlucky happened. He was fooled by Jordan Jr.

The first person Jordan Jr. met was the Mavericks. The Mavericks offered him a four-year, $80 million maximum salary contract. Cuban and Parsons promised him the core position of the team. Jordan Jr. was very satisfied with this meeting.

Although he then met the Lakers, Knicks and Clippers, three days after meeting with the Mavericks, Jordan Jr. announced that he had reached an oral agreement with the Mavericks.

It was reported at the time that Jordan Jr. chose the Mavericks because they were sincere. Cuban and Parsons recruited him, and even Nowitzki took out his trip to communicate with Jordan Jr. The Clippers were a bit negative.

After Jordan Jr. reached an agreement with the Mavericks, the Mavericks reached an oral agreement with Matthews. The team's signings made Cuban proud. He violated the league's regulations in an interview and publicly talked about Jordan Jr. without formal signing, but was fined $250,000 from the league.

If the Mavericks finally successfully sign Jordan Jordan, the fine would not matter, but what happened next made the Mavericks unexpected.

On July 9, it was revealed that Jordan Jr. intends to return to the Clippers and breaks the verbal agreement with the Mavericks. The Mavericks were anxious, and Cuban and Parsons rushed to Houston, but the Clippers also sent a luxury lobby led by Ballmer, Rivers, Paul, Griffin and Pierce to Houston for a last try.

The Clippers blocked Jordan Jr. Jordan Jr. did not answer Cuban and Parsons' call. When the signing day officially started, Jordan Jr. signed the contract and officially returned to the Clippers.

According to Pierce, they stayed at Jordan's house like that, until he made a decision. A large number of reporters flocked to him, but they blocked all the reporters outside the door and they enjoyed happy time inside the house.

Due to the violation of contract renewal, the Clippers boss was fined $250,000 happily.

Cuban and Parsons were furious. Cuban said in response to reporters that he did not know Jordan Jr., and Parsons admitted that Jordan Jr. could not bear the pressure of being a cornerstone player. It was frustrating and disappointing for him to go back on his word.

A person who doesn't even know how to make free throws is the "cornerstone", but they can think of it.

After the "repentance" incident, Jordan Jr.'s personal image was seriously damaged, and he fired his agent Feigan. Feigan is considered a Mavericks agent. He has a good relationship with Cuban. From the beginning, he had decided to operate Jordan Jr. to the Mavericks. This is one of the reasons why Jordan Jr. is dissatisfied.

The Mavericks had to turn to attack others, signed Yi Jianlian with 5 million a year, and signed Dalemport with 1.5 million a year with a low salary of 1.5 million a year.

The Kings traded Cootney Lee to the Hornets, and exchanged two future second-round picks. This was purely to save money, exchange cash in the future, and save a year of middle class and space.

Lee's defense is average, barely considered a three-player player. After Wade comes, it's a waste of him staying with the Kings as a marginal person.

Lee is gone, and the king can also train newcomer Wilcox. Both of them have similar body shapes and styles of playing.

Josh Smith signed the Rockets for 10 million in two years, and the second year was the player option, which is the largest contract he can get so far. He joined forces with his friend Howard.

Barbosa joined the Warriors at a free salary, and he just wants to play now.

The Trail Blazers offered Amino a 4-year premium contract of 30 million, which was too high for a blue-collar who could only defend the shooting. The King immediately offered the same conditions, leaving Amino behind.

Compared to the Trail Blazers, Amino prefers to hang out with Wang Jun. This is not difficult to choose. On the one hand, it is just a playoff team. The Kings are the defending champion. Why not stay when the price is similar? The champion ring cannot be bought with money.

The management also invited Chris Carman, who scored 86 points and 65 rebounds last season. He is a meat shield center. He can shoot mid-range shots on the offensive end, but his movement speed is too slow, and he is not good at pick-and-roll, and being a substitute on the edge is enough.

Kaman refused, even though his condition declined, he still held his self-esteem.

He is such a weirdo. He was the boss of Wang Jun in college. Now he is a marginal person under Wang Jun. He feels very uncomfortable. Especially after he knew that Wade was going to join, he is even more reluctant to go to the king.

He never dreamed of winning the championship with Wade. He paranoid believed that if Wade had not suppressed him in the draft and went to the Heat, his career would have been completely different.

So, Petri changed to contact another inside veteran, Amaresta Tadameier joined the Kings with a minimum salary, and averaged 21 minutes per game last season, scoring 115 points and 56 rebounds.

Soon, the Kings substitute power forward was also confirmed.

David West gave up his annual salary of up to 12.6 million in the last year and entered the free market in order to join a strong team to compete for the championship. He joined the Kings with a basic salary of 1.4 million in a year.

West was selected as an All-Star twice, with accurate mid-range shots and rich experience. He no longer has the strength of a star and is completely qualified to be a role player. He averaged 117 points, 68 rebounds and 34 assists per game last season.

Albert Swan tasted the sweetness of the free market last year and proposed to introduce the Rockets to abandon players. The management left Brooks behind and signed a Rockets to abandon players as the No. 1 marginalist, Ismail Smith.

Ismail is a god-level homeless man. In 2010, he entered as a rookie, playing for the Rockets, Grizzlies, Warriors, Magic, Bucks, Suns, Thunder, 76ers, and Pelicans. He changed 9 teams in five years, setting a record.

He is 183 tall and weighs 79 kilograms, has poor confrontation and poor defense. His advantages are his excellent organizational ability and breakthrough ability.

When Wade and Wang Jun can play the No. 1 position, he joins just in case, for fear of encountering large-scale injuries.

Finally, the king gave veteran Vince Carter a basic salary.

Carter was in average last season, with his shooting percentage dropping by less than 40%, but his physical fitness is still excellent. He can still dunk to the battle axe, which is something that many young people cannot do.

Carter doesn't want to retire, and as a veteran, he can play a role in the locker room and guide newcomers. The management is willing to give him time and will make a profit if his form recovers next season.

As a famous swimmer and half-man and half-god, Carter can also attract fans and renew his contract and win multiple goals in one fell swoop.

At the end of July, the Kings' 15-man quota was confirmed, and no longer the preseason signing will be conducted. The Kings don't want players who have no strength and no specialties. Karon Butler and Rondo want to join, but they are rejected by Petri.

In the new season, the Super Kings are formed again, and the lineup can be compared with the 20122013 season.

Center: Gobert, Whiteside, Stadamier.

Power forwards: Patterson, West, Covington.

Small forwards: Carter, Carol, Amino.

Scoring guards: Wang Jun, Wade, Wilcox.

Point guards: Curry, Brooks, Ismail.
