Chapter 6 Immortal Master Sima

Two hundred miles north of Luoyang, the first of the ten major Taoist cave heavens, Wangwu Mountain.

"The first Wangwu Cave, which is thousands of miles away, is called Xiaoyou Qingxu Heaven, and is located in the two realms of Luoyang and Heyang..."

"The teacher said that the king's house is small and the heaven is the real mansion. The prosperity is quiet and the gods can only prosper. I will not be able to move around every step of the way, so I will have the ambition to end..."

In 699 AD, in the second year of the Shengli period of the Great Zhou Dynasty, Empress Wu Zetian summoned Sima Chengzhen to Beijing, and later ordered the Lintai Supervisor Li Jiao to see him off. Sima Chengzhen then built Zhongyantai, Wangwu Mountain, and called himself Zhongyan Taoist priest, and built Ziwei Palace.

In 711 AD, in the second year of Jingyun in the Tang Dynasty, Emperor Ruizong of Tang ordered Sima Chengzhen to return to Beijing to inquire about Yin and Yang techniques and the affairs of the country. After Sima Chengzhen left Beijing, he went to the Shifangyuan on Zixiao Peak in Wangwu Mountain to practice.

In 721 AD, in the ninth year of Kaiyuan in the Tang Dynasty, Emperor Xuanzong of Tang welcomed Sima Chengzhen into the eastern capital Luoyang, personally received the Dharma talisman and respected him as the first Taoist sect in the Tang Dynasty. The following year, Sima Chengzhen resigned and went to Tiantai Mountain. Xuanzong presented his teacher with the teacher "Sending Taoist Sima Chengzhen to return to Tiantai, Wangwu Mountain".

In the 14th year of Kaiyuan in 727 AD, Emperor Xuanzong of Tang ordered the construction of the "Dayangtai Wanshou Palace" in Wangwu Mountain to retain Sima Chengzhen.

This year, the 22nd year of Kaiyuan, the balcony palace was basically completed, and the plaque "Liaoyang Palace" written by Emperor Xuanzong.

At night, on the path up the mountain, a group of people climbed up the steps, with their paces light and dignified expressions.

The woman in the lead was tall, wearing a Taoist robe and a veil, and the hanging silk on the brim barely covered her face.

When passing by the balcony palace, the woman couldn't help but stop and looked at the gorgeous palace in the clouds and mist, and sighed softly.

The Shangqing School belonging to the Immortal Master Sima belongs to the Shangqing School. Most of the practitioners were from the East and the West. They were children of the gentry in the Jin Dynasty. They were extraordinary and elegant. The Immortal Master himself was a descendant of the Sima royal family of the Western Jin Dynasty. He had already cultivated into a god-like figure. How could he take the prosperity of the world into his eyes?

To put it bluntly, this magnificent balcony palace is just to demonstrate the emperor's authority and embellish this peaceful and prosperous era.

While thinking, the group walked up to a flat ground. The target of entering the front was a tall ginkgo tree.

This is the place where Sima Xianshi built his hut, where Zhongyantai is located.

The bright moon and the breeze are raised, and a stone platform is built under the ginkgo tree. An old man sits cross-legged on the platform.

The old man's hair was all white, his hair was combed, and he was wearing a purple feathered dress. He held a whisk in his arms, his eyes were drooping, and two long silver-white eyebrows fell from the tips of his eyebrows.

On both sides of the stone platform are two incense burners of cranes. The cranes spread their wings and look up at the sky. The red flames in the furnace reflect the mica railings, and the curling smoke spewed out of the crane's mouth.

The woman put on her outfit and took off her hat, revealing a graceful and graceful face.

She walked forward slowly, with her hands in her arms embracing the yang, and bowed with her eyebrows: "Disciple Wushangzhen, pay homage to Master!"

Sima Chengzhen slowly opened his eyes, waved the jade handle whisk, and said lightly: "Jiu'er is here, get up."

If Gao Mang was present at this moment, he would be so excited that his eyes were shining.

This widowed woman is the organizer of the top cultural salon in the Tang Dynasty, a pioneer in the Chang'an literary and artistic circles, the poet fairy Li Bai and poet Buddha Wang Wei, the granddaughter of Wu Zetian, the sister of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, and Princess Yuzhen with the magic name "Shangshangzhen".

Princess Yuzhen's nickname is Yuanyuan. She was originally ranked tenth in her family, but Taoism regards Nine as the most respected, so people call her the Ninth Princess.

The only one who can call Princess Yuzhen lightly "Jiu'er" is probably Sima Chengzhen.

Princess Yuzhen stood up and said respectfully: "Jiu'er brought some spices to the master, sandalwood from Annan, Baike fragrance from Magadha, Jianzhen fragrance from Java Heling, and musk from the Xi tribe in the north."

As he spoke, the entourage behind the princess presented the brocade box and, under the guidance of the two Taoist boys, headed towards the three thatched cottages not far away.

"By the way," Princess Yuzhen added, "Jiu'er insisted on bringing my junior brother a few Silla tribute fruits to dismount, and the wild donkey from Talas in Shiguo."

Sima Chengzhen laughed silently, but he was slightly stunned when he heard "Talas".

Under the stone platform, a few pieces of wood were raised. After Princess Yuzhen sat on the cushion, the Taoist boy took off the pottery pot from the small stove beside him and carefully poured the cooked tea into the pottery bowl in front of the princess.

Sima Chengzhen smiled faintly: "Try the ritual tea that the kid cooks himself, it is the wild tea from your own industry in Zhongnan."

Taste tea?

Princess Yuzhen looked at the clear tea soup in front of her and was surprised for a moment. Could it be that she didn’t need to add spices and seasonings to drink it with a clear soup in a weak way?

She hesitated and picked up the tea bowl and took a sip. She felt that the mouth was slightly astringent. As she frowned, a sweet sweetness spread out from her mouth, and the princess's light eyebrows stretched out.

It is wonderful, fresh and elegant, with sweetness in bitterness, and you should be able to bear the word "Tao Tea".

Looking up, the master also picked up the tea bowl and took a big sip with enjoyment on his face.

Princess Yuzhen smiled and said, "Last year, my junior brother sent someone to ask for wild tea in Zhongnan Mountain, but he didn't know it was this wonderful use. If he had known this, Jiuer would have asked the people below to pick more for him."

"This kid is naughty by nature, don't spoil him," Sima Chengzhen's eyes were filled with a smile, "When he really goes down the mountain, you will have a headache!"

Princess Yuzhen's face turned solemn, and followed the words of the master and asked, "Master, are you really planning to let the junior brother take charge of the Tianyun Department?"

Sima Chengzhen nodded slightly: "Jiu'er, I accepted you as my disciple back then. I originally wanted you to take charge of the Tianyun Department, but now it seems that that kid is more suitable."

The princess bowed her head and said, "Since it was arranged by the master, there is naturally no objection here, but my third brother's place..."

The third brother that Princess Yuzhen mentioned is Li Longji today.

The Tianyun Department of the Tang Dynasty was related to the fate of the Tang Dynasty, but Sima Chengzhen had to hand it over to a child with a hanging bun to take charge. If the emperor had no brain problems, he would definitely have to ask about it.

Sima Chengzhen waved his whisk and said lightly: "Jiu'er, I have sent a letter to your third brother to tell you the whole story. Earlier, King Qing came to inform me that the boy had passed the assessment."

Princess Yuzhen was surprised. It is said that there were more than a thousand zombies going north to Xiaoshan City this time. How long has it been since then, and the younger brother has solved it?

However, since it was King Qing personally supervised and Master said this, there would definitely be no mistake.

Princess Yuzhen couldn't help asking, "Master, my junior brother should be a awakened person, right?"

Sima Chengzhen nodded: "Not only can the awakened heaven, but also has Su Hui!"

Su Hui?

Princess Yuzhen didn't care. There were too many genius children in the Tang Dynasty. Wang Bo could write poems at the age of six, Luo Binwang wrote "Ode to the Goose" at the age of seven, and Zhang Jiuling, the prime minister of the dynasty, could write gorgeous articles at the age of nine, Wang Wei and Wang Mojie, when he was young, he was famous for his poems and music, and paintings. There were also Li Mi, who was a genius child who had been personally studied by her third brother Emperor. There were countless such things.

Love triangle?!

Princess Yuzhen was stunned for a moment, and then understood the meaning of these three words. Her cheeks suddenly turned red and she looked embarrassed and angry.

"It's nonsense!" Princess Yuzhen said angrily.

Instead, she saw the master's narrow eyes and was even more embarrassed and angry: "Master, why are you disrespectful to me?"

Sima Chengzhen laughed loudly and waved his hand and said, "Hahahaha, OK, okay, let's not talk. If he talks nonsense again, you can teach him a lesson."

Princess Yuzhen clenched her pink fist, nodded vigorously, and a smile appeared on the corner of her mouth.

The future is long, junior brother, junior brother, see how I deal with you in the future!

Behind the princess, a little Taoist boy ran forward with joy on his face: "Immortal Master, Fairy Aunt, Master Uncle He is back!"

The uncle of the junior teacher is naturally Gao Mang.

Sima Chengzhen smiled and looked at Princess Yuzhen: "Jiu'er, you are not in a stable state, so you'll disappear first."
