004. Platform, Castle, Evening News

The drive from London to Hogwarts was a bit long, and Cost and Roger didn't have a long chat, before they fell asleep in their seats.

When Scott woke up, the sky outside the car window had become very dark.

"The train will arrive in Hogwarts in five minutes. Please leave your luggage in the car and we will take it to the school for you."

The voice of the conductor spread throughout the carriages, the Mercedes-Benz train was slowly decreasing, and the terminal station Hogsmeade Station was about to arrive.

Hearing the voice of the conductor reminder, Scott took out his pocket watch and looked at the time.

At this time, Roger was also awakened by the voice of the conductor. He sat in his seat and looked at the lights of Hogsmeade in the distance through the glass window.

"Let's go, Roger."

Scott greeted him, stood up and pushed open the compartment door. Roger stood up and pulled his robe casually. The two walked to the door of the carriage to wait.

With a long whistle, the train stopped slowly, and the students sitting in other compartments also walked out one after another.

The car door opened, and Scott and Roger got out first. They passed by the platform and walked towards a row of old carriages parked outside the platform.

At this time, Hogwarts' key administrator and hunting ground guard Ruber Hager was standing on the other side of the platform, calling out the freshmen who were enrolling this year with a loud voice like in previous years: "First-year students! First-year students come here!"

His figure is different from ordinary people's tallness and is very conspicuous in the crowd. He raised the magic lamp in his hand high, which is like a guide to the freshmen who don't know anything.

"Look, those little guys, Hagrid is like an ostrich mother with a bunch of little ducks." Roger pointed at the staggering freshmen.

"I remember you were also one of the ducklings." Scott said angrily.

Even though he said so, he also laughed.

After all, Roger's metaphor... is actually quite appropriate.

The students around were also amused by Roger's words.

Scott naturally turned his head and greeted the girl walking behind him.

"Hello, Peneno."

Penelo Crivat, a sixth-grade female student who is the same as Ravenclaw, has beautiful brown curly hair and is a smart and beautiful female.

"Good evening, Scott." Peneno covered his mouth and laughed a few more times, "Oh, and Roger, you're making me laugh."

"Of course, thank you for your compliment, Miss Krivat."

Roger made a very proud and exaggerated expression, which made Peneno laugh.

The three of them got on the same carriage and sat down.

Before the carriage started, another figure suddenly climbed up quickly.

"Good evening... good, Peneno."

The tall and thin red-haired boy sat directly next to Peneno after getting into the car. He whispered hello, and Scott and Roger both heard his voice a little nervous.

"Good evening, Percy."

Peneno was much more generous than him.

Percy Weasley, a Gryffindor student of the same class as Peneno.

[They are definitely tricky!]

Roger winked at Scott.

[You still need to say it.]

Scott replied with a calm look.

Percy Weasley seemed to have noticed the other two people in the carriage at this time. He raised his head slightly and said with some reserve: "Hello, Davis, Trollope."

"Hello, Weasley."

Scott and Roger responded lukewarmly.

At this time the carriage started, Percy retracted his gaze and whispered with Peneno.

Almost ignored Scott and Roger looked at each other and began to talk about their respective elective courses in the new school year.

Scott started in the third grade and took three courses: ancient magical literature, arithmetic divination, and protecting magical animals. There was no preparation for changes in the new school year.

But Roger was hesitating whether to give up a course.

"I regret it. I don't think I should have chosen to divination class." Roger said distressedly, "Just as Professor Trelawney said, I don't have the 'Tianmu' at all."

Roger chose divination class because of his interest, but this course is too special. People without the talent for prophecy will never be able to achieve something through hard study.

"Maybe you can choose to give up on this class," Scott suggested, "go and talk to Professor Flevy, who should agree to your request."

"Okay, I'll go." Roger accepted his suggestion.

"Oh, are you talking about divination classes?" Percy interrupted suddenly. "Professor McGonagall said that Professor Trelawney is a liar. But it is easy to get high scores in this course. As long as you 'prophet' Professor Trelawney's tragic future during the exam, of course, the more miserable the better."

After saying that, he looked at the two boys with some smugness.

Scott and Roger looked at each other without saying a word.

At this time, Percy added: "You know, I got twelve certificates in the O.W.L.s (Ordinary Wizard Level Examination) last school year."

"Oh, I know you're great, Percy."

Peneno glanced at Scott and Roger awkwardly, and she began to talk about some of her interesting experiences during the summer vacation diverting Percy's attention.

Neither Scott nor Roger spoke again.

When the carriage stopped in front of the gate of Hogwarts Castle, the two of them jumped down first.

They accelerated their pace and walked towards the auditorium, and Roger whispered: "The beautiful Miss Crivat, the Flower of Ravenclaw, her eyes are really not very good. I understand Weasley wants to give us some useful experience, but he really can't speak, right?"

Scott smiled without saying a word, and turned to look back.

A slightly fat boy was walking over from behind. He squeezed directly between Scott and Roger and said excitedly: "Good evening, Scott always seems to be able to notice people outside of sight. Can you tell me how it was done? Oh, by the way, are you talking about Peneno's boyfriend Percy Weasley just now?"

Roger was stunned for a moment and smiled and said, "Eddie, you are always so sensitive to these gossip news, and I can't help but suspect that you have more than two ears and one mouth."

"Oh, thank you for the compliment, Roger."

Eddie proudly raised his head.

"I happen to have the latest news here!"

He took out a newspaper from his robe and shook it.

"Do you know, 'Savior' Porter and his little friend Weasley didn't catch the back-to-school train today, and I suspect they came to school in a flying car."

"A flying car?"

Roger reached out to snatch the newspaper from Eddie's hand, which was a freshly released "Prophet's Evening News".

Scott looked over and saw the front page of the newspaper read "Ford Angria will fly, Muggles are shocked."

Roger said as he walked, "Two Muggles in London were convinced that they saw an old car flying over the post office building... At noon in Norfolk, Mr. Hetty Bailis was drying his clothes... Mr. Angus Fleet of Peebers reported to the police..."

At this time, the students around them also came over to stretch their ears and listened to Roger chanting the newspaper.

Roger quickly finished reading this report and stuffed the newspaper back into Eddie: "Eddie, there is no flying car in the newspaper that was driven by Porter and Weasley."

"But I think it's them." Eddie swore.

"Is this true? Weasley, your brother comes to school in a flying car?" someone in the crowd asked Percy.

Before Percy could answer, Scott raised his head keenly.

Eddie followed Scott's gaze and happened to see a Ford Angria falling from the sky and flying past the walls of Hogwarts Castle.
