Anyone who sees it will probably think that this little monk with solemn appearance is a Taoist monk.

Among them, the nine pure holy light wheels intertwined, a sentient being in the Pure Land, thinking about clothes and food, thinking about food and food, everything is naturally sufficient, and there is no greed at all; the best people love and protect each other, and there is no anger at all; all sentient beings always hear the wonderful Dharma, open their minds and understand them, and the "Saha world" that is completely ignorant flashes faintly, as if they are ten trillions of Buddha lands, and are reborn in the Pure Land, and are reborn in the Pure Land.

When Zen Master Ling saw this scene, a trace of crystal tears flashed in his bright and wise eyes. He seemed to have seen his lifelong faith, and he performed Buddhist rituals heavily on the nine saints of light behind Ji Boyi's mind and kept reciting scriptures.

"Amitabha Tathagata, with Guanyin, Mahasthamaprapta, countless transformed Buddhas, hundreds of thousands of monks, Śrāvakas, countless heavens, seven treasure palaces..."

The sound is like sunlight, deep and solemn, and at the same time it reveals the most pious belief.

“……The ninth grade of rebirth, the ninth grade of lotus!”

In the last eight words, it seemed to have some mysterious power. It went straight into Ji Bayi's sea of ​​consciousness, causing a huge shock, awakening his mind, who was almost immersed in the void Dharma Realm, and pulled him back to the hall.

As consciousness returned, the nine golden light wheels behind Ji Boyi's head seemed to have received some signal and penetrated into the back of his head, as if they had never appeared before.

"Master, what's going on? The disciple seems to have realized a handprint again!"

Thinking of the scene where the old monk vomited blood last time, Ji Boyi said this carefully. However, what he expected was that after hearing this, Zen Master Ling nodded slightly as expected.

"The Nine-Level Seal of Rebirth: I have taught you all through the 'The Eye of the Dharma, and from now on, you can become a disciple."

“Huh?”

Ji Boyi has not yet figured out this sentence. He only knew that this time, by pursuing the true "meditation", he reached the state of "integration of the three truths", and then in the hazy sea of ​​consciousness, there was another seal that seemed to have extraordinary power.

Listening to Zen Master Ling’s words, it seems that this handprint is called the “Nine-Level Seal of Rebirth”, or is it taught by him?

"Master, my disciple has shallow cultivation and I want to sit down and learn more about meditation for a while."

Although he didn't know what was going on, he knew that the old monk in front of him was indeed a person with real ability. Before he could learn all the supernatural powers of Buddhism, how could he leave?

But after hearing his words, a wry smile appeared on the thin face of Zen Master Ling, and he asked a question that is well-known to the world.

"Disciple, do you know the origin of my Zen Buddhism?"

"Bodhidharma came to the east of my Middle Land and passed down the seal of my heart. The efforts of generations of ancestors have led to the prosperity of my Zen Buddhism today."

After hearing Ji Boyi's words, Zen Master Ling shook his head and signaled that the answer was wrong.

"This is just the origin of Zen Buddhism in the lower realm. What I asked is the source of Zen Buddhism!"

"In the past, the World Honored One was at the Lingshan Conference and showed the crowd the flowers. At that time, everyone was silent, but only the Master Kashyapa smiled. The World Honored One said, "I have the eyes of the Dharma, the wonderful mind of Nirvana, the true form is without form, subtle - the Dharma, no words are established, and they are different from the teachings, and I asked Mahakasyapa."

"This is the original origin of Zen Buddhism!"

After Zen Master Ling finished speaking, Ji Boyi showed a look of surprise on his face. He did not expect that the origin of Zen Buddhism actually started from the most mysterious allusion of Buddhism.

I don’t know that at the Lingshan Dharma Assembly hundreds of millions and tens of thousands of years ago, the Brahma King presented the Buddha with golden pineapple flowers and asked the Buddha to preach. Sakyamuni did not say a word, but just used the pineapple flowers to show the public, calm and peaceful.

At that time, all the people and gods in the association could not understand the Buddha's meaning. Only the Buddha's great disciple, Mahakasyapa, understood his meaning and broke his words and laughed. From the Buddha's smile, he passed on the fundamental Buddhist Dharma of "Lighting everything and hiding all things"... where the Dharma's eyes are hidden.

"Yes, I have just passed on the Dharma-Secret to you with the 'The Dharma-Secret's eyes, and I have taught you all my life's practice. From now on, as long as you reach your level of cultivation, you will naturally be able to understand the Buddhist teachings of my Yangshan Yangsang Sect from my heart. Therefore, I said, you can already become a master, disciple."

Zen Master Ling smiled and said to the disciple in front of him, but he was asking himself if it was worth it to make such a decision.

"The Eye of the Dharma" is the last secret method of Zen inheritance, and any monk can only use it once in his life.

When used at one time, they are transformed into the Buddhist teachings and Buddhist principles of the previous generations of masters into the heart seal and poured them into the sea of ​​consciousness of the successors. Once they choose the wrong one, their lineage will be destroyed in history and cut off from others.

Why can Zen become more and more powerful? In addition to the six generations of ancestors who are indeed wise and profound monks, they are also because of the secret method of the "Jing of the Dharma".

Once the Buddhist wisdom of generations of ancestors has been accumulated, once it is turned into its own strength, it is to penetrate the cycle of reincarnation for several lifetimes, and the magic power instantly soars to an incredible state.

What's more, Buddhism is the inheritance that emphasizes the most on understanding. The understanding of generations of monks can be directly instilled into your mind in this way, which is simply a method that goes against the will of heaven.

In some ways, this is also an alternative "to attain enlightenment in dreams".

I'm afraid that Kashyapa and the Buddha were in love with each other at the Lingshan meeting. Although they only smiled and did not express anything else, they were all indifferent and had passed down their own method of enlightenment. What Sakyamuni told Kashyapa in the end was the best proof of this speculation.

Zen Buddhism is the Buddhist tradition of Mahakasyapa. The so-called "Dharma Eye Treasure" is probably a simplified version created by Venerable Kashyapa when he was unable to teach "Achievement in Dreams".

"Master, I wonder if my Zen ancestor's heart seal is now in the hands of that senior?"

After understanding the origin of Zen Buddhism, Ji Boyi was most curious about this issue. At that time, the Sixth Patriarch Huineng was just a little novice monk, but because of a verse, he was attracted by the Fifth Patriarch Hongren and taught the heart seal of the ancestor with the "Jing of the Dharma", thus creating the Southern Zen Buddhism in just a few years, overwhelming the Fifth Patriarch and sitting down as the chief master Shenxiu.

However, after the Sixth Patriarch Huineng was destroyed, no eminent monk was able to be admired and worshipped by Buddhist disciples all over the world like the previous six ancestors.

"Since the Sixth Patriarch received the Heart Seal and lived in Prajna Temple for thirty years, there were nine disciples of Dharma. Nanyue Huairang, Qingyuan Xingsi, Nanyang Huizhong, Yongjia Xuanjue, and Heze Shenhui are the most famous. However, no one can surpass others, so I don't know who the Sixth Patriarch taught the Heart Seal of the Patriarch."

"The heart seal you accept now is the accumulation of Buddhist teachings and Buddhist principles by Nan Yue Huairang, from Zen Master Mazu Daoyi to my teacher Baizhang Huaihai, and me. As long as you can understand one tenth of it, you can go to the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss and achieve the fruit."

After hearing this, Ji Boyi realized that in the sea of ​​consciousness, there were twelve golden lights shining Buddha lights, three of which had the same faces. A total of four Buddhas with different appearances sat quietly in the middle of the sea of ​​consciousness. The pure Buddha light connected into a light curtain, transforming an area into a Pure Land of Bliss.

"'The Dharma Eyes can only allow each generation to leave behind the three most profound Buddhist teachings or Buddhist principles that are passed down to you by the teacher, one is the "Three Truths of Perfection and Realm, and the other is the "Feal Harvest barrier". If your disciple can fully understand this Buddhist teaching, I think it should be able to use the "Dharma Definition Seal and exert one-tenth of the power."

One in ten thousand!!!

Ji Boyi suddenly felt that what he accepted was so awesome, worthy of being the things of the Great Sun Tathagata. He could feel the power and profoundness of the Buddha's light contained in the "Feal Hunting Barrier" of the thing that Zen Master Ling left him. He could only be regarded as a fur compared to the "Three Great Sun Tathagata's Hand Seals".

"So, is the last one the 'Nine-Level Seal of Rebirth,'"

This is what Zen Master Ling said just now. Ji Boyi asked curiously. The depth of this handprint seems to be far beyond the "fetal barrier".

"Yes, this is also the strongest inheritance of our lineage. Do you know why this temple is called Miyin Temple?"

"Because of the Nine-grade Seal!"
