15, the people of your hometown will never forget you

Chief Yin, whose name is Yin Qinsong, is from Jinghu Village, Lingnan Town.

He is now thirty-eight years old. He graduated from a secondary school in his early years and was assigned to work at the Lingnan Town Central Primary School.

After passing the self-study examination, I obtained a college diploma and then worked in Jinghu Junior High School. After working in Jinghu Junior High School for three years, I passed the junior college-to-undergraduate examination and entered Jianghuai Normal University for full-time study.

After graduating with a bachelor's degree, he was assigned to work in Linjiang County No. 1 Middle School. Because of his hard work and unique teaching methods, he was deeply loved by students.

Since joining the workforce, my teaching performance has been second to none.

Later, the Education Bureau transferred such a person with teaching experience in elementary school, junior high school, and high school to work in the Teaching and Research Office of the Education Bureau.

Yin Qinsong had not stayed in the teaching and research office for two years when the former head of the human resources department retired.

Sun, the current director of the Education Bureau, promoted the young and promising Yin Qinsongguan to the position of chief of the human resources department.

"I am also from Jinghu Village." Chief Yin made Lin Feifan a cup of tea.

Lin Feifan was flattered, took the tea cup with both hands, and thanked him repeatedly.

In his impression, people in administrative institutions are arrogant, but he didn't expect Chief Yin to be so polite to people.

"Which group does Chief Yin belong to?" Lin Feifan asked.

"Yinjiawan."

"Oh, your group was all flooded." Lin Feifan said.

Chief Yin replied: "Yes, my parents have come to live here. I don't know when the water will recede, but even if the water recedes, the adobe house will be basically scrapped and cannot be inhabited."

"

"My aunt's house has collapsed." Lin Feifan said.

"Which group does your aunt's family belong to?"

"Yaowu Group."

"Oh, it's basically flooded there too."

After a small chat, Chief Yin introduced his teaching experience, and also analyzed the severe situation faced by Jinghu Junior High School to Lin Feifan.

Lingnan Town has 22 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with a total population of more than 50,000. There are only two middle schools in the town, Lingnan Senior High School and Jinghu Junior High School.

Lingnan Senior High School is actually a complete middle school, with half middle school students and half high school students. The middle school school serves eleven administrative villages.

Jinghu Junior High School serves 11 other administrative villages. The two middle schools adopt the principle of zoning admissions, and each admits primary school graduates in the area.

Lingnan Senior High School has always been better than Jinghu Junior High School in terms of infrastructure and teaching quality due to the leading role of the senior high school.

Therefore, many students who originally belonged to Jinghu Junior High School went to Lingnan Senior High School to study.

Due to restrictions on teaching housing, Lingnan High School cannot accept a large number of students from outside areas. Therefore, it has made choices about foreign students. It only recruits students with good grades after graduating from elementary school and rejects students with poor grades.

Jinghu Junior High School must accept these poor students abandoned by Lingnan High School.

Several of the areas served by Jinghu Junior High School are adjacent to Fengliang Town.

Fengliang Junior High School has very strict management, and its teaching quality has always been among the best in the county. Students from many towns and villages flock to it.

Fengliang Junior High School is very good at using its influence to recruit a large number of students from other towns and villages. In addition to charging normal tuition fees, it also charges high borrowing fees.

Therefore, many students who were supposed to belong to Jinghu Junior High School were snatched away by Fengliang Junior High School. As a result, Jinghu Junior High School was struggling to survive between Lingnan Senior High School and Fengliang Junior High School. It had a small number of students and a weak student foundation, and its performance has been difficult to improve.

.

Since 1992, Jinghu has been outsourcing its services to outsiders. Most of the areas served by Jinghu Junior High School are located around Jinghu, and residents in the area have relied on the lake to make a living for generations.

Many families suddenly lost their livelihoods and were temporarily impoverished, forcing their parents to go out to work.

As a result, most students in Jinghu Junior High School are seriously lacking in family education, and their teaching performance has declined severely. They are far behind the two surrounding schools and rank last in the county's education and teaching quality evaluation every year.

The public's eyes are sharp. The worse the teaching performance, the more serious the loss of students. Now, the area served by Jinghu Junior High School should have more than 1,200 students in three grades.

But now the number of students in Jinghu Junior High School is only over 500, and more than half of the students have been lost.

Most of the lost students went to other schools, and a small number dropped out of school because of family poverty.

Currently, the provincial government's acceptance of Linjiang County's dual basic education program is about to begin. Jinghu Junior High School has become the county's biggest educational difficulty household. If it is randomly inspected by the provincial inspection team, Linjiang County will not be able to pass the acceptance of universal education.

Originally, the Education Bureau had always advocated the principle of zoning admissions for junior high school admissions and disapproved of enrollment from other places. A document was issued to each school stating that students from other places were not allowed to be admitted.

However, the development of each junior high school is seriously unbalanced, the teaching infrastructure is very different, and the quality of education and teaching is uneven, with some being good and some bad.

The Education Bureau is unable to ensure the balanced development of schools, and it is understandable for parents to pursue high-quality educational resources. Therefore, the Education Bureau can only turn a blind eye to this increasingly intense school choice phenomenon.

There are currently rumors within the Education Bureau that advocate the removal of Jinghu Junior High School, merging it into Lingnan Senior High School, and concentrating efforts on building Lingnan Senior High School.

Another idea is to separate the junior high school of Lingnan Senior High School, build a new junior high school in Lingnan Town, and merge Jinghu Junior High School into the new junior high school.

Many people believe that Jinghu Junior High School has been unable to recover, and that it is better to die and survive than to let it linger.

The education authorities want to focus on building another middle school to get rid of the burden of Jinghu Junior High School.

Chief Yin spoke with emotion and worry. He encouraged Lin Feifan to work hard, devote himself to teaching, strive for excellent results, and fight hard to retain Jinghu Junior High School.

Jinghu Junior High School cannot be demolished. The geographical location of Jinghu Village is better than that of Lingnan Town, so a junior high school must be retained.

Children in the area cannot lose the school at their doorstep, and parents cannot waste money to send their children to other schools far away from home.

For the people in your hometown and for the children, work hard, Lin Feifan.

You will definitely make extraordinary contributions to Jinghu Junior High School. The people in your hometown will never forget you!

After listening to Chief Yin's long speech and passionate words of encouragement, Lin Feifan was a little confused.

I am just a student who has just graduated from a normal college and has not thought about how to teach. How can I shoulder such a big responsibility?

I haven't officially started work yet, so I don't have the right to worry about the survival of Jinghu Junior High School. How can I save Jinghu Junior High School from fire and water?

At the same time, his blood couldn't help but boil.

It turns out that ordinary jobs also carry a lot of responsibilities, and you can realize the value of life through hard work.

As an ordinary rural teacher, he can actually contribute to his hometown and benefit the people through hard work!

I had only read about these concepts and terms in political textbooks, but I never thought that these noble words could be associated with me.

Lin Feifan took a deep breath, thinking that he must re-examine his future.

After a friendly and warm conversation, Lin Feifan stood up and left.

Chief Yin wrote him a note with the phone number of the Human Resources Department office written on it.

Chief Yin told Lin Feifan that if he encountered any difficulties at work or needed help with anything in life, he would do his best to help Lin Feifan.

In addition, Lin Feifan was instructed to take Fan Qiang to the archives room on the first floor to get the diploma and other related materials.

Lin Feifan took the note and stuffed it into his pocket, saying goodbye to Chief Yin with a grateful face.
